Islam is Monotheism targeted at evolving Bedouins of Arabia who were steeped in superstition, theft and female infanticide.
Islamism is an Ideology which insists that only Islamist Wahabbi-Salafist Islam is True and all other people including Muslims of other Islamic Sects are Infidels who can be put to death.
Islam is based on Quran. Islamic Sects later adopted Oral Traditions [jotted down 300 years later than Quranic Revelation!], and cultural practices of the respective regions.
Islamism is based on teachings of Hardline Scholars like Ibn Taymiyyah, Abdul Wahab and Sayyid Qutb.
Islam advises that killing even one Human Being of any religion is akin to killing Humanity.
Islamism thrives on killing apostates, LGBTs, minorities, foreigners and civilians through deadly Terror Attacks.
Islam is Secular Monotheism where all languages and Names of God are respected.
Islamism is Fundamentalist, with emphasis on Arabic.
Islam led to Sufism which helped mix people of all religions in search of Ecstatic Spiritual Union with the Divine.
Islamism led to Terror Groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIL which instill Fear and Hopelessness in people.
Islam does not force conversion, in fact even preaching is discouraged beyond giving a reference copy of Quran.
Islamism will force conversion by the Sword.
Islam permits Music, Dance, Art, Sculpture (as long as Idols for worship are not made), insists on learning Science, Mathematics, Astronomy, permits Astrology, Amulets, Occult Studies, Meditations and even accepts LGBT Community wholeheartedly when Monotheistic. Some phrases of Quran even hint at Reincarnation. Islam insists on marriage with security payment for Women. Polygamy is actually not permitted as per Quran. Slaves of 7th Century were encouraged to be set free gradually by Quranic encouragement.
Islamism is anti-Arts, anti-Knowledge other than that of making weapons, enforce strict rules for Women, is Misogynistic, permit rapes of Women as act of war. Islamism thrives on Slave Trade, Extortion, Drug Money, loot and theft.
Muslims who follow Islam will assimilate with respective cultures. They will wish people of other religions, will visit Temples and Churches, will wish happy holidays/birthdays, attend school functions, plays, parties [even if they do not drinbk alcohol].
Muslims who follow Islamists will not even wish "Happy Birthday", they will avoid non-Muslim friends, will never attend parties thrown by people of other religions.
They prefer Isolation, which is what quickly radicalizes and exponentially increases hatred that during psychologically weak moments they commit suicide bombing.
Islam can peacefully coexist with West, Hindus, Buddhism.
Islamism will insist on their Shariah and will not peacefully co-exist with others.
These differences will hopefully help the World understand that Islamism is the Enemy of Islam as well as the Enemy of Secular Western Civilization. That Islam and Muslims who are non-Islamist [98-99%] are allies in the fight against Islamist Terror Groups.
I appeal to my brothers and sisters in all countries to work with Muslims in identifying the Salafist Islamists. Their insistence of "Shariah Code" in Western Countries should be taken as a Threat.
Their Isolation is dangerous, you need to put pressure on your local Governments to de-radicalize the Islamists, at least their children. Let them not be allowed to keep radicalizing in the name of Liberalism or Human Rights. Freedom and Human Rights are for those who want them for all people.
Pardoxical as it may seem, there should be no tolerance for those who make it a religious duty to be intolerant towards culture and practices of other faiths, countries and religions.
Let us not lose even one more life to Islamist Terror. Enough is Enough.
