Looking back on that comic I posted on pg 1, I could add to that with multiple videos on the ultimate horror show that nature is (and it does inspire some of our horror movies, even elements), much, MUCH darker...Silent Hill worthy. Even animals that most of think are adorable do hideous things on a regular basis (just like us humans "made in the image of God"), and the way some of them reproduce would make a zombie apocalypse seem worse (in some cases it includes elements of that as well) to an apocalypse of THAT. If one can know a tree by its fruits, then God is a terrifying tree of nightmares. Either that, or an interloper who finds itself unable to fully reform the horror into something truly beautiful--a subjective term to be sure, no doubt much different to an eternal being. 'Course that can go into much more tame aspects no one questions, like in the classic Star Wars, Yoda says the Dark Side is weaker but more seductive, and that there is no try, only do or do not, so saying as he's hiding a defeated exile from the Emperor that he's going to send a kid after since neither he nor Kenobe could handle (I could get more poetic about that, but I'll resist). But instead, I'll use this as an excuse to post a horror vid...it's more disturbing than horrific, and I think I like it most because it feels like Old School Lovecraft and Bloch, which I didn't think could be put into video form (and much of what I've seen when their works are put into TV/movie form has seemed silly whereas their written words were powerful and compelling), but I think this does it. The slow build up, the disturbing revelation, and a disturbing ending left open to interpretation. What is God? An art project about an art project of God taking a disturbing turn...it's over by the 7 minute mark:

It's open ended enough that it could be claimed it represents our hopes and fears into one, that it is a purely symbolic way our mortal brains that need fear to survive would perceive something beyond our understanding...but given what nature is like, it's all too likely that it's pretty close to literal!
