http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L56-Y1JZUk Johann Wolfgang von Goethe had a profound and reverent fascination with the Quran and Islam, studying them extensively throughout his life. His writings, most notably the West-Eastern Divan, demonstrate deep respect for the Quran's language, wisdom, and the Islamic concept of monotheism.Goethe’s Embrace of Islam http://medium.com/@SaidAbdulLatif/goethes-embrace-of-islam-7421196b1d88 Goethe and the Quran Goethe’s personal correspondence and reflections reveal his profound respect for the Quran. In his conversations with Johann Peter Eckermann, Goethe praised the Quran’s moral teachings and poetic beauty. Goethe remarked, “It is a book of revelation to a people at all times and in all places.” This statement underscores his view of the Quran as a timeless and universal source of wisdom. Indeed, aside from the Bible, Goethe was familiar with the Quran more than any other religious text. He read the Quran several times and even wrote some surahs in Arabic. He collected various review essays under the name “Koran-Auszüge” (“Summary of the Quran”). This text, which appears to have studied at least two-thirds of the Quran, is currently in the Goethe Museum in Düsseldorf. IP: Logged |

Islam was the first intellectual revolution after Christianity. Truly identified that Mary was with a child before marrying Joseph. The Qur’an does not say that Jesus was resurrected after death in the Christian sense (i.e., dying on the cross, being buried, and rising again). Instead, the Qur’an explicitly denies that Jesus was killed or crucified, and says that God raised him up (lifted him) to Himself.
The Quran strangely ends with a chapter talking about Jinns (Invisible beings).

Yes akin to the biblical Elijah(Elias) or Enoch, and he will return to our current earth at the end of times. He is the Messiah son of Virgin Mary his birth was a miracle. Many figures in Renaissance and Enlightenment were interested in Quran, not just Goethe. IP: Logged |

All religion --Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Jews , Parsi, etc ... claim their chosen one will return . pizzing contest exists in mens world. I don't believe in this non sense. What should return is common sense and wisdom and respect for each other based on truth and understanding in each heart. But I do believe -- Gods, Angels, Farishta, or whatever you call them will not let mad men and politicians destroy this beautiful library of humans, animals and plants on earth. They will interfere if it becomes worst. Do you know they have evidence of radioactivity on Mars typically found after a nuclear explosion? May be humans lived there and then transferred to earth. Sodom and Gomorrah -- was a battle where nuclear weapons were used per Zacharia Sitchins book. Radioactive materials still found as evidence. I also believe someone special was already born here on earth -- imagine six planets were in 12th house/Pisces -- the house of enlightenment... Future will reveal more of this Avatar. IP: Logged |
