Does anyone know if symbols...such as "&" standing for "and" carry a numerical value? In coming up with a name for a new business, we're shooting for 21/3. When we spell out the word "and" within the business name, we get this number. I'm wondering if the "and" ends up being shortened to "&" if it will effect the "good vibrations" and bump it down to a 20! I haven't read about this anywhere. 8th IP: Logged |

Just my onion, but I don't think most people think of an ampersand (or however it's spelled) when saying the word "and."------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Good point Randall, in numerology calculations the ampersand is calculated as the word "and".IP: Logged |

Thanks Randall and Alpha.Just to be sure I'm reading the responses clearly, if I had a company named "Smith and Jones" which numerically translates as "34145 154 17553," reducing to "8 1 3" giving the compound number of 12 and the single number 3, my spelling it "Smith & Jones" would still carry the same numeric vibration because the & is read as and? Thanks...just want to be sure before I commit! 8th IP: Logged |

EighthMoon, when you file at the county business for a License...are you putting the "AND" or the ampersand? I think they would want you to write the "AND" and that would add the vibration making it 3. IP: Logged |

Hi Thorshammer, Yes, on every official document it would be "and," but on literature, our sign, and uniforms, etc. we'd like to go with "&." I read somewhere that the Chaldean system uses the name you're known by, more so than the official. But in this case, the and would bring the number we'd need and the name would still be spoken with the "and," even when using the symbol. I just wanted to be sure we weren't changing a fortunate name number by using the symbol, which is what would be most viewed by the public. Thanks, all for your input!!! 8th PS) Are you a jeweler by chance? IP: Logged |

Dear EighthMoon,If in doubt on how to calculate a name, just say it aloud. Use the way its said aloud to calculate the name. IP: Logged |

A jeweler...I WISH! LOL. I am actually allergic to metals, I usually don't wear anything unless its on a leather rope or hemp, only jewelry (metal) might be a piece crimped on the stone i have.No Jeweler here my friend. IP: Logged |
