after reading about myself in the numerology section of Star Signs, I became really interested in numerology! The number 4 fit me like a glove! So I decided to study the subject a little more in depth

I bought a book called Numerology and the Divine Triangle, and reading through this, it seems to be a completely different system from whatever linda describes in Star Signs - the calculation is similar, but the numbers are different, in the ways that linda describes them, and in their listed astrological correspondence.

for one, 4 is described as being orderly and structured, which doesn't necessarily contradict linda's description of it, however, its astrological parallels are listed as aries and earth, whereas Linda says it is Aquarius. Also, numbers are listed as corresponding to both signs and planets which don't match up, like 8 corresponding to Saturn and Leo?

I know that it's hard to find a cohesive use for numerology because people are across the board as to how it is truly practiced, but I just wanted some input as to whether or not I should take the book seriously. What I've read has been a bit insightful, but like I said, Linda's descriptions fit me perfectly, and I don't know if they match with this book or not!

For the record, the book is Numerology and the Divine Triangle by Faith Javane and Dusty Banker, and the author talks about kaballah a lot (is kaballah at all tied in with chaldean numerology?) thanks for any and all help with this!

I read that book and although it had many interesting ideas and insights, it did not ring true for me. The numbers/letters key is based on a different system (I think the Pathagorian if I remember correctly), not the Chaldean system. I did the magic triangle, a concept I found very intriguing, but the final out come did not describe me or my life at all. I ended up selling my copy at a resale shop.

That was my experience. Other people have found it very meaningful as there were many positive reviews for that book on Amazon.

To answer your other question, the Kaballah is based on the Hebrew alphabet. It is the earliest known form of numerology. The symbols for letters are actually numbers so there was no letter/numbers key. It was all the same. Every word had a numerical value

Yeah, after reading the book I was kind of disappointed. The book says that I am inclined to orderliness and I dress in a proper/sophisticated manner, neither of which could be farther from the truth

Also, I'm not buying their 4 description, lol

Are there any books on chaldean numerology out there? It's numero uno :P
