Jai

I have an idea. I can change my entire name legally and change it in my checks, ID, etc..to whatever is good. Then to most people i can still be Linda and slowly change it over to the new name. Like at work I can still be linda, on my emails but to my close coworkers, tell them to call me with the new name. Just a thought. Its hard to convert to a new person all the sidden.

Or second choice is to have the name I want as middle name legally and just go by that. That would work too right?

Also question on the compatible numbers. In the book it says that the name that go well with me are the number 6. Is 6 better than 1,2, and 7 you think?

thanks!!

Sass,

See how your LL name can be a 10/1?

I think both your ideas are really good ones. The middle name will give you alot of options and you can use it whenever you want. I've met alot of people who go by their middle name and its no big deal at all.

As for the 6 being the best number for 4 and 8 people, I feel I should point something out. I mentioned earlier that the source material for the numbers descriptions in Star Signs is Chieros Book of Numbers. LG makes reference to him so you know where she is getting the information from. She must have thought Chiero to be the top authority on this subject and this/his material to be so important and not to be misunderstood that it is practically duplicated word for word.

I thought it was curious then that she differs from his advice on this number 6 recommendation for 4 an 8 people. Chiero says to have a name with a strong number and use that number alot so as to overshadow the 4 or 8. (There is more advice in his book.) The strong numbers to use are 1,3,5,6,9. LG is very emphatic that it should be a 6 number (but not the 15) as it would mitigate some of the tendancies to feel isolated.

So there you have two points of view. I wish this were an exact science but I guess you have to go with what feels right for you. Maybe you should take Alpha Trion up on her offer. She has alot of experience with this.

Good luck in what ever you decide.

Jai,

now your really confusing me. In the previous posts, you said the number that goes well with 4 was 1,2, 7. Now you're talking about strong numbers like ,1 3, 5, 6, 9. Thats like all the numbers basically!

i appreciate all the help. I will just have to go with Linda Goodman's book because I dont have Cheiro's books.

Sass,

I'm sorry it was confusing.

I guess the point I was trying to make was that Cheiro is not as emphatic as LG about using the number six. He does mention the 1,3,5,6,9 as being strong numbers that with dilligence can override the 4/8. But the most harmonious numbers if you are a 4 birthday are 1,2,and 7. That would mean that the number 1 would be your best bet according to his book.

Hope that helps.

Well read star signs, that should clear your all doubts, then you can sit with a book and check all the numbers for yourself and try to interpret for meanings.

Anyways Check this link which is as per Goodman's star signs. Check this link:

This should be helpful...

@Jai,

I couldn't post replies on this thread as i was unregistered. I wasn't aware that i had to re-register.

Here's one observation i have made: when the letter "C" is used, you have to observe how its pronounced. It could be as in "Car" in which case it has the same value as "K" which is 2. Other words like "Case", "Core", "Camp", etc will have the same value for "C" which is 2 as it has the same phonetic sound as "K".

One example is the ill fated ship "Titanic" if you calculate the numbers as per the simplified chaldean system, you get 4+1+4+1+5+1+3=19. But if you take C=2 in this case as it the name sounds the same as "Titanik", you get the total of 18. If you know the meanings of the compund numbers 18 and 19, you'll know why "Titanic" was ill fated.

The letter "C" has a value of 3 when its pronounced as in "Cent", "Patience", "Peace", "Ice", etc.

The "Chaldean" system appears to be a simplified version of Kabalistic numerology, which is quite accurate in most cases. It just needs some tweaks to certain spellings to the number values.

Don't take my word for it. Do your own research and see.

Thanks Alpha Trion.

The idea of using sound for the letter values makes alot more sense. I have that book by Leeya Thompson, The Wisdom of Sound and Number, but it has just confused me. I am uncertian when a vowel would be mute. And also, there are different ways to pronounce names. I quess I just have to spend more time with it.
