Here are some info on what careers fits the different life paths and does it fit in with your work or how you are at work?

Life Path number 1
We find many 1s -- like Napoleon Bonaparte -- in the military or law enforcement, because the aggressive 1 is well-suited for careers that call for leadership and strong motivation. But masculine 1s are also often contractors, entrepreneurs, members of middle-and upper-management, self-employed craftsmen and sailors. In addition, you'll find 1s filling in the ranks of lawyers, farmers, engineers and freelance artists -- specifically freelance photographers and graphic designers.

Life Path number 2
Perhaps best exemplified by famous 2 Rosa Parks, this sensitive and feminine number is the exact opposite of 1. But like Rosa Parks, 2s tend to be resilient and strong, the true survivors of the number spectrum. They're diplomats with staying power in their chosen field, and you'll most likely find them serving as teachers, counselors, doctors, nurses, therapists -- in general, caregivers. Their personable natures also push them ahead in fashion and real estate sales, and you'll find that many bartenders, waiters, matchmakers and politicians have a 2 Life Path number.

Life Path number 3
One of the most creative and dynamic numbers, 3s can have difficulty with routine activities. They like careers where days are unconventional and often unexpected -- Hillary Clinton is an archetypal 3. Other 3s are often found in the arts, laboring as writers and filmmakers. Or they might take on advertising, marketing or public relations, or throw themselves into the media, working as journalists and broadcasters. Lively and inquisitive, 3s also enjoy careers in "exact" sciences, like psychology, psychotherapy, biology, pharmaceutical and medical sciences.

Life Path number 4
4s treasure bringing their down-to-earth natures into fields that require attention to detail -- after all, two-time Nobel Prize laureate Marie Curie studied radioactivity for the better part of her life! 4s are also often athletes, due to their preference for a repetitive schedule, and that 4 brand of discipline makes for great accountants, bankers, financial planners, engineers, architects, landscapers and tax lawyers. 4s are also attracted to jobs in organizational and management positions.

Life Path number 5
The 5 is the true Renaissance number (think famous 5 Benjamin Franklin!). Versatile 5s can do pretty much anything, but they're most attracted to jobs that call for travel or the outdoors. They're not too fond of routine, and do especially well in advertising, public relations, high-end sales, antique-dealing and high-risk ventures -- natural gamblers, they don't mind jobs with a high risk factor. That's why many 5s are stuntmen, firefighters and construction workers.

Life Path number 6
6s are especially personable and tend to be attracted to teaching or healing. They love working with others and can stay devoted to their chosen career path for decades (think of famous 6s Francis Ford Coppola and Albert Einstein). 6s also excel in construction, carpentry, mechanics, engineering and land-based work. They are among the most loving of all numbers, and it shows in whatever professional path they take.

Life Path number 7
Famous 7 Stephen Hawking is the epitome of his Life Path number: a problem-solving dreamer. Intelligent and ingenious, 7s are often found in sciences like math, physics and chemistry, as well as other exacting sciences, like military strategy and business studies. They are also drawn toward commercial arts, performance (like theater and dance) and religious calling.

Life Path number 8
The 8 represents power, authority, and business, and 8s tend to be attracted to established businesses -- actor Paul Newman is an example (although he has taken the food-producing business model and given it an overhaul!). More than any other number you will find the 8 among high-ranking law enforcement, upper management and business leaders. Less likely to be risk-taking in their chosen field, 8s stick with tried-and-true -- but still exciting -- career choices like surgery, psychiatry and pharmaceuticals. Those with an 8 Life Path tend to be highly focused and ambitious, and often have to guard against sacrificing too much of their personal life in pursuit of the mighty dollar.

Life Path number 9
The 9 is the "Mother Theresa number" -- so nicknamed not only because it was in fact her Life Path number, but because 9s are particularly affected by the welfare of others and can be very self-sacrificing. 9s are natural-born volunteers who are attracted to positions that require diplomacy or a strong sense of justice. In addition, many human resource specialists, archeologists, anthropologists and sociologists are 9s. Due to their abilities to guide and support others, 9s also make excellent coaches and social workers, and they enjoy expressing themselves through visual arts.

I am a 8 life path and no, it does not fit my career. 2, which is my birthday number (20), is much more accurate.

What is called "the life path" is what Linda called "the secondary number", accepted from the sum of all the numbers in your full birth date.

My life path number doesn't fit my career. The number 3, my expression number, fits my career the best.

I'm a 3. Fits my desires and feelings of what I should be doing based on skills, both natural and taught, but it is an area where I'm not easily accepted.

Areas I'm more readily accepted are related more to MC sign.

My life path number matches me.
My expression number overlaps a bit with my life path number.

But maybe some themes of the expression number career will seep into the life path.
