She's a funny one. Her nickname is Charlie-Noodle.

She loves to kiss our cat, pull his tale and can tolerate his nibbles.
She dances to music and spins in circles with her arms in the air and giggles madly when we clap. She sings "ladidida" in between songs, or when she wants more music. She bops to faster beats and bangs the bongo drum in time. She is partial to Irish music and loves soft gentle soothing music before bed. She wont sit down in the bath, at the moment she enjoys saving a poop for bath time. She loves brushing her teeth, cries for her toothebrush and insists on trying to brush the cats teeth! She has little tantrums when she does not get her own way, cries and kicks her legs, stomps and shouts "no", or "dont"...in her funny style, pushes her lips out in an authoratitve way. She babbles/talks with her hands, very animated, loves to give us lectures and make her point heard. I wish I knew what was so important to know! She gives the best cuddles, and open mouth kisses on your head, makes a "ahhh" noise when she is pleased. She loves to drink water, prefers water above all else. She likes whipped cream even though its a little naughty. She loves pushing buttons and will do it as soon as a head is turned! She has a quirky sense of humor all ready, knows how to cheer up a grown-up person! Love her to bits.

In other words, she's just like her mommy. But seriously, that was the sweetest description.

SunChild is wonderful. Does anybody not think so?

Stephanie,

Your introduction was clear and succinct, and, if I didnt know any better,
I'd think I just got a pretty good idea of who you are.

You and your daughter are equally adorable. Beautiful.

Good luck with the book, and the homeschooling. Very admirable.

But when are you going to post your chart,
so we can all see what wonderful looks like?

love,
S

Valus, I never saw this.

Lovely pic.

This thread almost makes me come to tears, so much has changed, so many painful places I was dwelling in ~ I no longer live there.
I'll never see that front yard view again (the pic at the top of the page.) Shattered expectations, shattered everything! I still hurt about my experiences living with my mother and Step-father. It was the most peculiar experience I have ever had, I still don't know what to think, or feel.

Anyway, there are still many positives in my life to compensate for last year! I was possibly traumatized, I remember waking up at 2am, after I left their home, completely disorientated, couldn't put two and two together. (long story short- I was almost a cult devotee courtesy of my step-father.) luckily I have some sense of self, and was able to intuit my path back to sanity.

The wounds are healing. I am almost ready to take leaps in different directions, and be kinder to myself.

Hey SunChild,

Dropping by to say hello. I keep dropping in steadily for a while, then dissapearing for months and feel lost upon returning too.

I love the pictures, they're beautiful. Agree with AG, your description of baby T is beautiful. As are you. Giant hug to her. Homeschooling huh? You must have a LOAD of patience!

I didn't really get your last post coz I'm clueless about your history but we're all wounded works in progress and its great that you're in a better place. I hope it only goes uphill for you.

Much love.

Just came back to see that pic again. I resonate so well with it, it describes my vision of coming back ~ to my old life.

And I could go on, but I wont, it's just a dance of my thoughts.

I wish I had a therapist or something, I'd love to have someone to want to know what I went through and provide comfort.

That's the rub. I only have my own voice on this one.
