I know what you mean. I thought I'd try something different, but it still feels weird. I should just re-register as teasel, and be done with it.IP: Logged |

My Teasel-Baby!Why yes you should.. I know we all evolved, I've certainly evolved.. but yeah, It's hard to shed our identities here. It was like a burgeoning. Now that I know who you are it will be different I'm sure... IP: Logged |

I used the search function and look what I found!Fun! I love love. Look at all the love here. *sigh* more reregistering. I should update my life, huh? I graduated last June. I am so glad I went back to college and proved I could do it. I am still in skin care, only I got a better job in the skincare industry, due, no doubt, to having a college education beyond applied, as well as my years of experience. It's been a learning curve, but it suits me well. It's weird to not have a lot of confidence, yet know you could rock on out as soon as the confidence level catches up with the knowledge level. Like starting over. My kids are 16, 10 and Ells will be four in March. Wowsers. We will be married 12 years this year. Writing things like that make me feel older than I usually feel. Things are good. I love my house. I've been here for 1 1/2 years.

I'm not sticking around, but I accidentally posted elsewhere with my old account, and remembered seeing that you'd got yours back (when I was here looking for something last night). I don't feel comfortable here anymore, due to certain things that happened, but I thought I'd post a 'hello' for old time's sake, because i missed you here - even though I could talk to you on Facebook, there's a difference between the two. to you and your family. Awesome!I love posting on my old computer because it actually shows up as ME! My laptop crashed so I am strictly on my regular computer. Teasel! Yes, it is odd to talk without personas, isn't it, it's cool too though. I'm sad that you are leaving. I don't come here often, But it would be nice to visit here, as we have for years together! It is my day off today. I am planning to catch up a bit IP: Logged |

I'm glad you're here! When you mentioned a seagull rising from the ashes it made me think of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, so I really like that spark of randomness. ^_^I look forward to interacting with you! IP: Logged |

That's an awesome flower! Thanks for reminding me to update, Juni!OK- Ells is four!!! I am currently unemployed. I have way too much time on my hands, and I know I should paint or write, or do something I have been wanting to do while I've been a mother full-time, in school full-time, working full-time.....and now I am a mother full-time still, of course- but most are in school- and in September my baby will also be in school.. but well, I have been applying for jobs like crazy. I feel...ok. sort of...floundering. Most of my life is gorgeous and happy. But I still don't know what I want to be when i grow up. I mostly just go with the flow, as i did upon reading through this thread - Oh, i'm goiung to school to do this! Naw, now it's this... naw, now it's this! and then I wonder why I can't find a job or commit to a lifestyle. The reason I don't have a job is a real p*ss off.. but I am not a drama queen or a victim, I will just gather my bitterness around me and move on, better as a result.. I just have to keep the end goal in mind and tell myself NO...No going back to school. Just commit to what I went to school for, whether i like it or not, and just go for it. No more cosmetic industry. IP: Logged |

So your Saturn is conjunct your sun. I'll bet that's very similar as my Saturn conjunct my Ascendant.... And Mars conjunct your Ascendant... I'll bet it acts like my Mars conjunct my Sun.And My Capricorn Moon and Your Capricorn Ascendant... I have Neptune conjunct Venus too I Sagittarius( oooh, dreamy)They aren't exact, but still the same house/manifestation Our Plutos are about the same distance from our Suns too, although in different signs.
We both have the same elements in our Big Three...Scorpio Sun, Aries/Leo (Moon/Ascendant) Capricorn (Moon/Asc), and a sort of major relationship with Saturn, in terms of our big three...
Do you see any parallels? How do you think your placements have affected you?

some things I noticed, on a quick glance (missed a lot, obviously)Nice Sun (me)/ moon and mars (you) connection your Leo sq. sun Chiron neptune, close conjunct between us vertex (you) trine (my) moon and venus your scorp trine my pallas Anyway, any good connections saturn has with other planets sure does make things easier and lukcily I have no rough aspects with saturn. However, I have a rough moon square asc where my inner deep emotions often differ from what I am showing or I struggle to show what I am feeling. Moon square mars, especially with moon in aries, makes me have a quick temper on occasion but I work on that cause of astrology and I do get over anger quick. Saturn is for sure my most powerful planet, and I feel it, how about you? However, my mercury has no close connections (orbs too wide) with any of the planets and I think I over copmensate by putting too much emphasis on communication and vebral cues and I am pretty good most of the time (often what happens with unaspected planets, they are extremes).
Interested to here more of what you think!! IP: Logged |

Pixalicious!!It's funny to have you on FB and here. I know what you were saying about being able to say more here than on FB with common interests being present here. Also, most "fb" friends aren't "into" astro stuff etc. I have been thinking a lot about the old days, but not in a sad way like I sometimes do, but in a happy way at how I have grown and come into my own. Man! It's been so long that I've "known" you! IP: Logged |

Yes! Isn't that something?I'm wistful, but not melancholic. I am sure more people will visit and we can ferret them out of their *wherever they are* by remembering and being joyful. Like, as much drama as there has been for years and years, it's like a family, in the fun we used to have. I am not imagining that- this was a fun, awesome, sharing community. Yes- most people on my FB are not into astrology, and i can't reform all of them. haha I almost status-ed about astrology yesterday but went into my default mode.

carl- wow, that is quite a tight orb for a sextile/conjunction- moon/mars/sun..plus, same sun sign, we'd probably have very intuitive and deep conversations in real life. (While we were running or something.) hahaha My mars Scorpio, your Moon in Aries. (My Leo rising)I find I always have interesting almost immediate connections with people in my life who share the same elements in their big three... it doesn't have to be the same signs, just same element combo- there's always enough difference to be interesting conversationalists...but common ground like crazy- manifested differently.

I am indeed a fan of deep conversations. It seems it is hard to meet people who respond in kind. Though I do have a few friends who can talk for hours and some tell me to keep it simple.I usually adapt to how the other person is and I am as interesting as the person I talk to, generally speaking. Kind of hard to explain. IP: Logged |

Like you balance the conversation and input what is needed based on the moments and the person involved.I always like to say I am the nurturer, in the sense that if you give me a chalice, I will fill it as it needs to be filled. Usually I will put some wacko adornment on it too, like those crazy umbrella drinks. IP: Logged |
