this is a song i usually do acoustically, this time its a duet with my s.o. only he kept forgetting the lyrics, and forgetting to sing, so this is like the 8th take and the end is pretty funny.

my remake on john prine angel from montgomery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqK1qadW7WY

Hey, that's good stuff. I love how you dig into your drummer at the end. D@mn drummers...

Anyway, I don't have a video recorder, I've been doing some preliminary audio recordings since I purchased my PreSonus Firestudio Project interface in december, I know its a decent interface but I haven't used it much and so far I'm not pleased with my own results.

I do have some old recordings that I did with a band, back in 2002. I'm generally satisfied with how they turned out and I wouldn't mind others hearing them. Do you know of any internet site for hosting audio files?

scorp - it was so funny we laughed so hard we cried about the cussin att he end ot the angel song. our genre is usually rock and blues, butthat is one i do acoustically, anyway, mark is a really good singer, i was just ready to kill him for forgetting the words all the time while we were taping. it was pretty funny.

other than youtube, i have no idea. i would love to hear your music though.

Yup, me moving awn. I like the window seat too, I'll make the most of it before I go.

A wedding in New Orleans. Man oh man. That sounds like a blast. I'm so happy for you, he sounds so lovely. What are you wearing? Have you got a song to dance to? Tell me everything!

actually still looking for a dress, thinking tea lenght ivory. asmetrical hem of sorts, sleeveless, but not strappless. you know you cant find something when you have excatly what you want in your head! fitted but not tight.

having a bit of a time finding just the thing.

i have never been to new orleans so it should be fun!

mark wants to dance to this song at our party.

zac brown.

(i can see him crying like a baby, he tears up everytime heh ears it now))

she's got eyes that cut you like a
Knife and
Lips that taste like sweet red wine
And pretty legs go to heaven every time
She got a gentle way that puts me at ease
When she walks in the room I can hardly breathe
Got a devastating smile knock a grown man to his knees

She's got whatever it is
It blows me away
She's everything I wanted to say to a woman
But couldn't find the words to say
She's got whatever it is
I don't know what to do
Because every time I try and tell her how I feel
It comes out "I love you"
You got whatever it is

You know I've never been the type that would ever want to
Stay
Bring 'em home at night and they're gone the next day
But that all changed when she walked into my life
People ask me what it is
I tell them I don't know
Just something about the woman makes my heart go haywire
She's gonna be my wife

She's got whatever it is
It blows me away
She's everything I wanted to say to a woman
But couldn't find the words to say
She's got whatever it is
I don't know what to do
Because every time I try and tell her how I feel
It comes out "I love you"
You got whatever it is

When she loves me
Girl that's how I feel
When she loves me I'm on top of the world
Because when she loves me I can live forever
When she loves me I am untouchable

She's got whatever it is
It blows me away
She's everything I wanted to say to a woman
But couldn't find the words to say
She's got whatever it is
I don't know what to do
Because every time I try and tell her how I feel
It comes out "I love you"
You got whatever it is

^^^^^^^^ OMG, that's amazing!!! Better have some waterproof mascara.

Have you thought about getting the dress made up? You can find the fabric and go from there. You know it's not as expensive as you might think. Do you have a tailoring district where you live? I can see it in my mind's eye too and I think "Ladylike". Will there be netting under the skirt or straight? Shoes Ms Lion? What shoes?

I have heard some great things about tailors on ebay. The sorts that make prom dresses and stuff. My friend had a prom dress and another had a wedding dress and both had good experiences. I'm not sure I'd be willing to do something that important online, but it's worth doing a search of images on ebay because you might get close to seeing what you're looking for and get it made up from pictures. Maybe do a sort of board of images that get close to what you want?

I dunno. So exciting!!!!

(Violin playing)
So we live in our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you

We'll end up hand in hand
Somewhere down on the sand
Me and you

Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be

Drive until the city lights
Dissolve into a country sky
Me and you

Lay underneath the georgia moon
Do all the things that lovers do
Just me and you

Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Ever be

No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
All we need is love

Free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Ever be

So we live in our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you
