Yes, very attractive couple.

I've read other people comment on how attractive the people at LL are, and I am definitely believing it....an unusual proportion of attractive people.

More importantly to me...you look like your a very happy and friendly person, and I love it when people look genuinely so.Beautiful smile for sure.

Lovely photos Full of happiness.

Regarding your 'new' ascendant, did you feel that Leo fitted you? I found out not long ago that I was born in the 10th house, not the 9th (which according to astro.com it's the 9th). It did explain some things, but I imagine discovering you have a different ascendant must be quite strange!

I can understand why you thought you were Leo ASC...it was mostly in your progressed ASC most of your life so you probably felt you related to it a lot more than cancer.

I have it when I have a long post typed out and I forget to put in my password and I submit it and it's LOST!!

Anyway, thank you all for replying and all the great posts! They are super nice to wake up to on a Mother's Day!

It is weird finding a different ascendent. I thought that that Leo rising appearance descriptions always fit me really well. Long, think hair. Large, round head. Taller than average, etc.

I'm not sure that the Leo rising personality traits fit me as well as the appearance did.

I still have to look up what Cancer rising implies!

No offense, but I think it has been proven time and again that it is a bad idea to post pictures of ones own children on the internet, filled with all sorts of unpredictable nut jobs.

Thanks for the concern, carl, but - No offence to you - I could just make him wear a mask when I take him out in public, too.

I think I have more to worry about in my neighborhood, building, local mall than from someone on a message board in Iowa.

Kids are more likely to be molested, kid napped and other unmentionables by members of their own familes or people in their schools and the paranoia about posting a picture of a child on the internet is actually greatly exaggerated.

"Pedophiles are opportunists. While they may have preferences as to the way a child looks, the children they molest are based on the ones they have an opportunity to be around. And yes, nearly every pedophile is around children every day. We catch less than one percent of them, and they exist in a population well into the millions, likely into the tens of millions in the United States alone. Our organization has recently come up with mathematical equations based on the most widely accepted numbers, indicating that around one in every 20-30 adults has active pedophile tendencies.

This fear of a pedophile finding your child’s picture online, and then stalking your child for evil purposes, is nothing more than an urban legend. It has never happened, nor is it likely to in the future. It is simply not how they work. They do not need to go through elaborate heists to get children. Most are around kids every day. Even the ones who aren't and might consider an abduction, are going to search for the easiest victim. They will pick one out based on their geographic location, not go through great lengths to try and find and stalk a child's picture they saw on the internet.

While the fear parents have about this may be real, it is unfounded."

I imagine the danger in posting pictures is if your child was the one posting online as himself/herself and posting pictures of himself/herself and opening themselves open to predators contacting him/her online.

Being that I am his mother and he doesn't post online AT ALL and doesn't even have email - this is not an issue.

Thank you, MVM

It was nice. It was only 85 degrees so not too bad today but all that sun really does me in because I'm pale. I am BEAT tonight! About to head to bed now... hopefully I didn't get burned. I was wearing 70spf.

Mask in public? what are you talking about???

It is so obvious for me not to post pics of kids on a message board, experience dictates that it is not a good idea. But whatever, do what you gotta do.

Carl - what experience are you talking about? Please share. I'd love to hear your personal experiences or even multiple news stories so I can learn more about it.

Re: the mask in public comment I made. It's more dangerous to walk around with my son in public than to post a photo of him online. So if I were so scared to post a photo online then I should also make him wear a mask in public to keep him safe from the more likely and obvious threat of local preadators.

MVM -

It was Hunter's first Renn Faire! He really got into the spirit of it though I couldn't convince him that it would be a good idea next year to dress him up in the traditional garb.
