(to avoid confusion, because I haven't introduced myself properly before... )I'm Aya, currently having a baby (13 weeks and a few days at the moment). I'm 24. I'm happy-go-lucky and quite playful, although I can get quite "abstract" sometimes (according to my psychologist when I asked him why people always think I'm mysterious ) I'm mainly about Western Natal Astrology and its relations to psychology, and I do have a fairly odd way about astrology - I'm pretty much an Enfant Terrible there I'm afraid to say. I've been studying Astrology about 10 years now, so luckily enough - guided by a disputed quote of Dr. Jung that he wished he'd studied astrology sooner (did he actually say that?) - started quite early in my life. I'm also very logical in mind; even though I am naive mostly (I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, much to my boyfriend's nuisance) I'm not easily fooled. Unless they abuse my thought that there is good in everyone, of course So, what else is there to say about me? I don't want to sound like I'm full of myself, so I better stop talking about me now
So, emm.... Hiya people! IP: Logged |

Hi AyaYou're allowed to talk about yourself - it's your thread afterall. And how else are we going to get to know you? Congrats on baby! That's beautiful. Proud mother of three crazy kids talking. It's the best thing in the world. IP: Logged |

Kinda worried about my baby, though... looking at its chart it's going to be too much like my mother The ironic thing is; my mother once told me she wished I had a child just like me... what am I getting? A kid with the same sun and moon as me (and my mother).
Oh yeah, my chart:
My baby's due for 4 November

... for some reason I think I'm not allowed a sense of humor anymore because I'm going to be a mother.I'm not supposed to be all serious, am I? That would kill all my Sagittarius influence? IP: Logged |

Ah, honey - for parenting - you need a sense of humour. It's what gets you through the learning curves.You'll be fine. Unfortunately they don't pop out with their personal instruction manuals so you have to do what feels right to you. It'll be right. I figured if billions of other women have done it before me then I'll work it out. This little one chose you for a reason. You're the one who knows what baby needs. Trust yourself. IP: Logged |

I want to say Hello and Congratulations!As for a sense of humor, (heh heh)you'll need it. Even if you didn't already have one you'll get one....kids are so funny. My husband once had our 9month old on his shoulders, gently bouncing up...and down...up....and down...then *blaahh!* baby barfed on husbands head! (oh yes, they're good for a laugh) Check out this little guy...such a HOOT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5ALIL7T764 You have lots to look forward to, congratulations! IP: Logged |

Thank you Peace Angel, I hope I'll do fine... Since, although ironically enough I am a writer, I can't say things well with words but better with pictures; here's a few pictures;
WIDO - rest his soul - after a little make-over by yours truly. He seemed to be happy to wear the flag; it was only after his death that we found out he was an Irish Staffordshire Terrier and not an American one. Irish Staffordshire Bull Terriers aren't registered here in Belgium so they officially called him an American Staffie. Little Leo dog with Scorpio moon, don't know his rising. I wish there were more dogs like him; he wouldn't hurt a fly! IP: Logged |

DAIKO - the follow-up to Wido. A Shiba Inu but is probably better described as hell on paws. Very territorial, very protective. A Taurus sun/mercury with Sagittarius moon conjunct pluto ( ) and Pisces mars. Moon and pluto square mars... No wonder he's so violent. But he can be the sweetest dog if you let him Me on a mad trip. Give me a miner's lamp and see what happens IP: Logged |

Have you checked out your progressions and transits to see when the baby will arrive?Have you picked out a name yet? What do you write? Your dog looks like he is merely "tolerating" your having put him in the flag-LOL! IP: Logged |

Thanks again all! Cardinal; I know one now; my mother... she's already protective over the baby but I think I know why. She'll never let me forget that when I was almost due, she decided to go to the clinic on her birthday and tell the nuns that she was ready to give birth. The nuns sent her back and told her to come back on the 10th when the baby is ready. So she did, but she won't let me forget I "should have been born on her birthday!!!" LOL So, hopefully, not to make up for it, but because her anecdote does show how much it means to her, her first grandchild can be born on her birthday! Thank you katatonic - it might be 3rd generation of that now. What comes to mind when thinking about mothers and daughters being born around the same birthday, is the grandmother saying "I hope you will have a child with your character!" My grandmother said it to my mother and my mother to me
Good girl - haven't checked my progressions yet. To be honest, I'm not really that good with progressions; I've focused on natal charts way too much. I hardly check my progressions, perhaps I should more. I was thinking of checking transits but... I don't know, it seems so far-fetched. Willing to give it a try, though! How would I go about it? Names I'm willing to use, are Saoirse and that's really about it, and my boyfriend already let me know he finds the name Sean a very strong name. So I suppose it'll be those two.
Although tonight my boyfriend let me know he found Sinéad a very strong name too. I'll ask him again tomorrow when he's sober if he was really serious, because he does tend to say things deliberately to get on my nerves when he's drunk... not that I don't like that name, but I prefer Saoirse IP: Logged |
