HAI LINDALANDIANS!!!!

It has been far too long. Remember me? I used to be Motherkonfessor but now just MK.
I am trying it out for size...hmm, seems slimming...

I cannot believe how much has changed.. Where have I been? How could I ignore the siren song of Global Unity? The endless debates on asteroids? How many forums are there now, about 50? LOL.

So many new faces, new places, new names! I might never get my feel planted on this new Terra Linda.

I do like the title of this place- I might just grab some coffee and babble awhile. I hope no one minds.

So, about me...umm..I am not so good about talking about myself. Must be that Scorpio part of me (What? Why do you want to know? What have you heard?) maybe I can blame my Virgo self (no, that just isn't proper... I will just sit back here and pour the punch..)

To be fair, this Libra moon tells me it's so IMPOLITE to monopolize a conversation.

Once upon a time, I had a signature that stated:

Nitpicky Sun
Wishywashy Moon
Obsessive Ascendant

I think most of that still holds true

I tend to title my posts with song lyrics. I don't pretend to be a musician, but I love the beat.

I don't think I am all that interesting- I work too much to have a life. Oh yeah, but I do live in a national park. That has its good points and bad points.

I have spent my entire adult life without television. I don't get much pop culture references.

I know enough about astrology to be dangerous. Not enough to really care about asteroids, though.

I still see faeries, I am still single, and I still think we should be dancing, yeeeeaaah.

Okay, enough with the BeeGees references. Hard to believe I used to hate disco.

Peace out, y'all...chat with you soon!

MK

Hello hello MK!

I don't think we have spoken before but I remember being bored one day and looking over some old LLC thread of yours, which prompted me to read more of what you'd been writing when you were last here. You just seem like a very interesting "real" person. If I remember correctly you seemed to be having a difficult time with your work a little while ago. You seem very perky on this thread though, which gladdens me. How are things?

Oh and share your Bee Gees thing. I have recently unpacked my vinyl and record player and have been wigging out to "Guilty" by Barbra Streisand, featuring the toothsome Barry Gibb. I can't get enough of it.

OMG! I was just thinking about you over the weekend! Motherkonfessor, it is sooooo good to see you back here!
Are you still working for the park? I remember you were having work troubles last. Hopefully that has been resolved.

Whatever happened with that Leo guy? I remember you going back and forth with him, is he out of your life for good now?
I remember when we first talked - it must have been in 2003 or 2004 when I was telling you about my experience with a Leo guy who couldn't forget or let go of his Virgo woman, remember?

Really excited to see you here!
Take care!

Hi MK

Is your topic/thread name from that song by the Bee gees Stayin' Alive? Every time I read it I start singing the words in that song's tune.
