Right now my illusion could use a little more pool time and a little less work stress! How are you doing, Miss Starkiss? It's always tough to deal with loss, let alone a loss that is tinged with any type of or amount of regret. I try to remember that the regrets aren't what mattered, it's all about the love and lessons I experienced thanks to that person (or pet). IP: Logged |

OY! Ask a catholic about regret, which is all tied up with guilt, and you'll get a smallish novel.I've given up guilt/regret all together. This occured at the time that I decided to forgive my parents, grandparents, and caregivers in general. We are not perfect, we are flawed. We do the best we can with what we know at the time. That thought lets me sleep at night. Otherwise, I'de be a worse mess than I already am... IP: Logged |

Musette, I am ok, thanks, love. I loved what you posted on somebody's thread about how we perceive life through our moons. That's another proof that what we see and feel around us is a illusion we create for ourselves. Through our own prism. I find this concept bl00dy fascinating. Gyps, I am not catholic, never was and never will be, but I know a thing or two about guilt. I must have done something awful in the past life, like a mass murder or something, cos I am ridden with guilt all over my existence. I exaggerate it like through a huge magnifying glass and refuse to put it down. Another illusion of my self. When you start thinking about life from the "illusionist" point of view (which we all are),and at a different angle, it looks very... well, different. You think? IP: Logged |

Hey, Angel, glad you found me! LOL @ a scorpion pendant. I have a fear of insects, so can't imagine wearing anything like that. Oh, is scorpion an insect? Oh, my, I am in trouble. I just called Scorpio an insect! Yes, it's very hot. In july august the temperature goes up to 105 - 110 IN THE SHADE. Too much. That's why I have to sleep on a wet towel in the summer, LOL. The sea temperature goes up to 103 - 104 degrees. THAT I like. Do you have any pix of your place? I think it's roughly the same size as mine, I have to check on stats. BRB. OK, mine: 144 x 57 Yours: 80 x 95
I can't believe you pay 5 dollars for a loaf of bread. I pay 2 euro for it, which is ~ 2. 61 USD. Still ridiculous, but not as ridiculous as yours, LOL! And milk!! AARRGGHH!!! 9 dollars a litre? Holy cow. What's the cheapest food on BI? Here it's the veggies whichever are in season, or fruit. Potatoes are not cheap here for what ever reason. The potato fields are in abundance. Beats me. <------ Stomps off in a huff because everyone here gets to live on a flippin beach, and I live by a smelly river. Talk about doing something in your past life! IP: Logged |

I don't have any pictures of the colored beaches, But I'll try to get some pictures. The blue is very uncommon - I've only seen it at one spot by my house. From afar it looks black but when you're sitting near/on it it looks like dark sapphire, deep blue. The black sands are known to have garnet, topaz, ruby, sapphire, and diamond in them. Also special metals like thorium, titanium, tungsten, zirconium. The rocks along the roads, filling driveways, on the beaches and even the buildings made of lava rocks are filled with sparkling peridot pieces. Here is a picture of one of the many rocks filling my driveway. I'm always bending down to look at them Much Love, Scorpio
