It's been a while since I last posted here, my mind was stuck on other things... being pregnant and trying to find a new abode, among other things.

But, November last year brought a new little bag of spuds... I mean, bundle of joy into this world! Since I came here talking about being pregnant, I thought it only fair I'd tell you I'd given birth by now (otherwise it would have to be an elephant gestation period - yeouch!)

Contrary to what everyone thought, he turned out to be a boy and his name, as in the title, is Conor. Born on the 13th of November 2009 at 22:41 (pm, of course), in Antwerp after a whole day of labour and an emergency c-section!

His chart: http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=astro_2gw_01_conor.71215.9273.gif&res=100&va=&cid=u18fileFAx2H2-u1265226213

He didn't have to come out on the 4th of November after all!

Congratulations!

Isn't it wonderful...and tiring!
I know what you mean about being a feeding machine.
I breastfed both my children but what a difference between my son (eldest) and daughter.
With my son it was like being attached to an industrial vacum cleaner that snorted and rattled till he was satisfied.
When I had my daughter and experienced her dainty little efforts I handed her to the nurse with a puzzled look and said
"I don't think this baby works"

Enjoy motherhood. Basically they always have there head stuck in some feeding machine...be it you or the fridge!!

It is tiring indeed! He just can't get enough of it, and my breasts hurt the first couple of weeks. They are getting used to it, though.
