Hello all, greetings from Perth, West Australia!It is a mildly cold, rather damp day and I have been naughty enough to take a sickie from work. It's my birthday and I thought, why not? 26th July, 1968 was a mighty fine year I hear told.  So, here I am. An English highschool teacher for 20 years, I have a beautiful son, 2 Ragdoll cats, 3 dogs and a canary. I often think I live in a zoo, but the unconditional love they all bring is priceless. I first stumbled across Linda's SunSigns when I was 12 years old and lurking in my favourite place at school - the library. I recall taking the thick paperback from the shelf, flicking through to my star sign and reading here and there. I was hooked! I took the book out and rather contritely, I must admit to never having returned it. 30 years later, I still have that paperback sitting on a book shelf and I STILL enjoy dipping into it. Now, I must be honest with you. I know nothing about the workings of astrology. I am a complete luddite. But yet, I am drawn to it and all the wonders associated with its realm. I will probably have very little to add in the threads that seriously discuss astrology but I do hope from time to time you will humour my lack of knowledge and give a newcomer a seat on the couch.
