Your artwork is soo good,Nicki.
It feels alive.
That,to me,is real art.
For me, when I sense that,I know that person is an artist.
The pictures come alive.They come off the page and in to the world of the receiver.*I* judge all art,whether words or pictures as to whether it jumps off the pages and has life.

You're very talented! I have zero artistic ability. Michaels would be a great place for you to work. How did the interviews go?------------------

Niki, as you already must know, you have serious artistic talent. My favorite is the 3rd one down - the detail on the flowers is incredible. Look at all of them! it must have taken forever? They remind me of dandelions and I think you captured "light" there...which is not easy to do, especially in drawings. Interesting that youre also talented at portraits, as shown in the first drawing you posted.. what i like most about your work is the attention to detail. I notice it. Every Scorpio I've known is a talented visual artist and the ones that arent, express their emotions through words just as well.. (i think you write too ? ) The cat & building posted in the 9:09pm post is amazing as well. Was that one done in india ink....the building one looks like it may have been done with a quill or calligraphy type drawing pen...? very time consuming. Looks like it probably took you quite awhile to complete. anyway, I appreciate your work and dedication....as an artist myself...i know what goes into it...many people dont...they think it's easy, or simply "fun". Please continue on, because youve got a great eye for detail and perspective and are very talented imo.
Thanks for sharing this side of you with me/us.
Not sure if it's the same for you, ... but it's not always easy for us to do so (share). Very personal. Was a joy to see it.

thank you T...the one with the flower was not hard, it took like 2 days, lol...i always draw what i see...it was done with charcole, one of my most hated mediums  i do write a little, i have a couple of poems and a story on Yellow Wax The portrait in the first one is my dad, it was in his memory...the building was a relief, LOL, it was kind of like a plaque type of thing, with black ink on top and white underneath, i used a scalpel knife to take away the black i hope i can get this job at Micheals, so i can get discounts on my favorite art supplies  i desperately need oil pastel right now ------------------

I think you can add a (. period) to the name if that helps, or change the i's to 1's or something. It's always better to have a FB URL. Sometimes trouble makers can use your name and copy your profile pic and pretend to be you, but the URL is a sure giveaway.
