Hey guys! I don't really know where to start. Well first of all, I'm a young 13 year old (turning 14 in august) kid who is simply fascinated by astrology. I'm still an amateur and I don't really know much about all the signs (like what my saturn, mars, jupiter thing..) and such but I'm willing to learn about it. I was really happy to find out that there was a forum based on astrology and Linda's teachings. ^-^ Although, because I encountered this forum I found out that Linda died two years before I was born... which completely ruins my dream of talking to her someday. I hope to meet more fellow astrology fanatics around here.. v_v and I hope I'm not the only young person in this forum because as I browsed arounddd, It seemed like people already had jobs and children.. o.o I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm totally ok with old people!!! ... /).(\ I hope no one took offense to that. its great to meet you, and i dont think anyone will take offense to your old people comment (especially me and any other person with strong gemini in their chart)i think its absolutely great that your getting this into astrology so young...i only started to really learn my chart since like, june i think and i wouldnt say you will never get to meet linda cuz if you learn to astral project before your physical body expires you can meet her there on the astral plane...i'm hoping to do the same cuz i really want to meet her myself edit: holy trinity!! i just realized i'v been here for a whole year!!! ------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Welcome to Lindaland! Yes, a lot of us do have jobs and kids and stuff, but lots are teens! I think though, 13 is the youngest I have seen in a long time- the most important thing we have though, is what we have in common- which is astrology!I will find you some links that helped me when I was learning, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. There are definitely some adult themes here, so be wary of where you 'step' here sometimes, but for the most part we are all on this journey to share and learn. I was devastated when I learned ( through this website too, but many years ago) that Linda was gone from this earth. She has a way of reaching up through her books and touching your heart- speaking to JUST you. Take that with you. She was speaking to just you... if it touched you. I will find those links about the outer planets and what they mean- plus some basics on astrology. IP: Logged |

Nicki: WOW. REALLY? AWESOME. There's so much for me to learn! Pixie: I completely agree with you Lindaland is the only place where i can talk freely about astrology.. since most of my friends don't believe in it :\ It's funny that you say that. As I read one of her books, I felt as though she was really ALIVE. Like she was really talking to me! And as I read through the book, I'd giggle at times ^-^ Anyways, thank you for the websites! I'll be sure to read through all of them IP: Logged |

yes archaea...if you havent read her book "star signs" i highly recommend it....i keep getting on ami to read it but her gemini sun is too wacky to remember to do it Star Signs will touch you deeply and open your heart and mind to things you would never have thought....every twist and turn in that book took me by storm and there have been times when i "realized" something so INTENSELY that i actually had to stop and put the book down because of the ensuing head rush then headache ------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

i also recommend going to www.themysteryofsirius.com and enrolling in the intensive #1...it is totally free of charge, and its basically an audio book where the author, Keith Haswell, sends you the link and passwords to download the cds...he also offers free astrology readings but i think you have to be 18------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Hey Archaea, welcome! I got into astrology when I was 14 through my mother and liked Love Signs enough to google the author and find this site, and of course, that she's dead. I'm 18 now, and I can tell you, after 4 years of irregular presence (don't let the join date in the side bar fool you, a certain incident caused every member to recreate their account), this site can be an invaluable resource for your esoteric growth. If the prospect of applicable knowledge through astrology draws you, embrace it and investigate the intelligence of LindaLand. Best of luck!------------------ Pisces Sun, Libra Moon, Scorpio Ascendant.. Cardinal Grand Cross IP: Logged |

Haha yes Ami, I'm a young one.Nicki: that's what I hear. I've only read love signs but seeing as how I enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart, I'd love to get started on star signs. no, I WILL get started on star signs haha that reminds me of what Linda wrote about leos, "I will". ^-^ Cardinal: same here! Although I touched upon astrology at age 10 and then came back to it two years later. That's kinda funny cause me and my mom really love reading about love signs that's like the only thing we have in common. astrology is like a huge puzzle in my mind. I want to get ALL the way through it, understanding every single part of it. But it took me a long time to find some place to start. I think it was fate that allowed me to discover Lindaland. And I'm so loving fate right now because Lindaland is amazing! There's so much stuff I dont understand and so many fascinating people! It's like my personal paradise. I want to meet new people whom I can share my ideas and questions with and i want to find a solid understanding of astrology. I believe that if I stay and take the time to read in Lindaland, i'll progress in my journey. XD hehe I'm such a blabber mouth. Thanks cardinal! You really got me thinking! IP: Logged |

My mother and I also discuss astrology at times. I see a lot of things like a puzzle I must solve. As if anything can serve as a metaphor for everything else of the same dimension and knowing one thing well will allow me to extrapolate the rest. This is probably the theory of my passion, and it is consciously why I investigated astrology, but my passion exceeded my patience to learn from the available resources, or perhaps I did learn and I did not wish to accept it so I turned to another means to try and find justification for an answer I wont compromise. Now I'm quite passionate about music, though I'm not very good at it. I want to understand harmony definitively so I can apply the laws that create something as beautiful as music to other aspects of life, where dischord is prevalent.IP: Logged |
