Saturn considered as justice of all planets. He is a punisher for sins. He is responsible for Humbleness in a person. Destroy the ego of individual impel the creature not to divulge from righteous path.

Saturn in Ascendant(lagnam) gives nervousness, timidity, reservedness and conversely boldness from middle age onwards. It brings despondency, many hindrances in life, a liking of solitude and silent work, increased patience and susceptibility to colds, rheumatism, success comes only slowly after much endurance and hard work.
