I stumbled across this site interested in learning a little more about my 'strong winds moon' placement. I recently have just became more open to seeing truth in astrology, and how I have been effected our universe all these years.It started with seeing the correlation with my menstrual cycle, and the moon. Since I've followed it a bit more closely, I've also seen the imbalance caused from the moon I was born under, and my fertile moon. There is so much depth to all that exists. This neverending awakening intrigues me. I am a pisces sun and moon, with a capricorn ascendent. I follow my feelings VERY closely.. and this, I 'feel' has led me to be very vulnerable to my surroundings. I have been gullible.. so knowing that I am so easily drawn to believe certain things, I have been questioning astrology and everything I come across in regards to spirituality. But... I can't fight that deep inner yearn from within. That pull that tells me.. I am headed in the right direction. I've seen how open all of you seem to be.. and I enjoy just reading your thoughts. Well, I have read bits and pieces about the mentstrual cycle aligning with the phases of the moon. Many cultures in the past, the women would menstruate together, and spend that week in a hut, free of surrounding energies. The menstrual cycle was seen as an opening.. a gateway to release and absorption of energy.The personally have always fluctuating with emotions and stress levels throughout the 4 weeks of my cycle. When I was younger, my emotions were a bit more imbalanced, and my cycle too, was more than 28 days.. usually 30-32.
A few years ago I actually started to pay attention to when I would menstruate (during the new moon), and my most fertile time would be during the full moon. This remained the same for about 2 years. Then, I got pregnant in march, and had a miscarriage a little more than two months later. After the miscarriage I was emotionally distraught, imbalanced, aloof.. and my period would then begin around or on the last quarter. Between the full and new moon. I did some research and supposedly the moon phase you were born under, is the time, when in balance, you are most fertile. So, with me having menstruated during the last quarter moon.. I feel my body has gone through a huge change with the miscarriage, and is now trying to balance out. I am pregnant now. I got pregnant the day I am most fertile ( The day before the last quarter). I feel since I have payed more attention to the moon phases, and how it is in tune with me.. the body is more open, and I have become more aware of changes. IP: Logged |
