That is what the oral surgeon and orthodontists around here charge from what they said for one mplant post and a cap and crown.
I am definitely going to shop around so that I can find a better price for if and when I can get them. Or even some kind of dental insurance to cover some of it. Heck; would b; e tempted to go out of the country if I had to even though that would be hard very hard being that I am disabled.

Sorry for your luck Lexx. I can't remember if you live way up north or not, but either way, you might want to try and get yourself down to Mexico. Many Americans cross the border to get top quality health and dental care that they can't afford here. Especially year round travelers, RVers (and many veterans/elderly people who live on the road know about and utilize this opportunity). Many would be in really bad shape if they weren't able to go to Mexico and get the care they need. Something to keep in mind and look into.

Best to you

Thank you for caring T.
Cannot afford it at this time; and being that I am too often bed bound....traveling would be very difficult.
Keeping the idea in mind though.
Maybe I can rent a small RV someday.
Yeah we live only only like 40 miles as the crow flies from Canada; so Mexico is rather far away.

Thank you for caring.
Pushing 63 years to date here.
Yes;
and I have done and still do that type of meditation;
but mainly others of a more solitary type; that works best for myself.
Started seriously meditating about age 17 or so; making it some 40 years of my almost 63 years or so.
And pretty much every day and often more than a few times per day when at my worse times in the past 30 years or so.
It has in a way saved my life and sanity many times.
PTSD makes me hypersensitive to sound;
even sound others find enjoyable or peaceful.
Silence and or real nature sounds of breezes, rain, waves and even thunder and lightning; insect sounds like Cicadas and frogs and all; very soothing to me.
Wind chimes are one of the few human sounds that calms me.
I usually prefer silence/or the sound of wind and other natural sounds not recorded sounds or any human sounds or civilization sounds. Things often hard to impossible to achieve in today's noisy world.
Yes thought does not totally make our reality nor cause our health issues.
Sure thought can affect but not cause or fix in most cases.
I spend a great deal of time with varying degrees of agonizing pain and paresthesia and even blindness episodes, severe immobility and more.
In betwixt the worse times; still in pain etc;, but when not at my worse' I post here and at fb and do what I can do physically.
And meditate!
When bed bound that is often all I am able to do.
So yes; I meditate.
I have to.
Otherwise I would have already given up on living.
Other things I do; which some folks may not see as positive; I do feel are positive because they also help me to not totally lose it at my worse times.

Nice video by the way.
Way more peaceful than any others I have seen/heard.

I hope you will get to visit with your mom. {{{hugs}}}

It's complicated, but I'm not interested in a relationship with her - it wouldnt be healthy for me, but I did recently connect with other family I hadn't spoken to in years and it's done a world of good for me. Two of my aunts are coming down in early Oct. for a vacation to visit me and I can't wait.

Hello T!
I totally understand. I tried a few times to make peace with my family and a kind of closure but it did not work out. So I had to for my own sanity to just let them go and silently wish them good lives and all.
Glad your family situations have reached at least a peaceful positive state of being with you.

Many of the guided meditations I hear online I have to cut short, but I did like that one I shared.. Glad you did too. I like to try and meditate on my own, but a good guided one is nice every once in awhile too. There are some decent sleep ones out there that I've found helpful too. I'll check out the link you posted soon. I don't check in here regularly anymore, but it's nice to see names I remember when I do.

Best to you. (((Hugs back)))

Thank you muchly and more {{{hugs}}}
Yeah....
Strange to think how long some of us have been here at LL. '

*lost my post

Kept lagging, then getting a message saying 'Sorry, flood control is on' then a message saying I had too many smilies.

I'm not going to try to type it out all over again.

I'll leave you with my new favorite quote:

"Anything that costs you your peace
Is too expensive."

All the best Lexx hugs

I love the saying! True, very true!
My internet has been acting up and lagging too. Also I think the limit is 8 smilies?
Or 6?
All the best to you too T! {{{hugs}}}

I am SOOOO glad that this feature was improved.

Used to be that the WHOLE post would erase *poof* after 'Submitting your Reply' and getting that message saying that you had exceeded the limit of *8* smilies. Actually, I think it accepts *7* then at #8, it rejects your submission.

Now, if you accidently gave 1 too much, the computer lets you 'back' a page, without losing your work.

Some of my posts are very long and involve tedious details. It was so disappointing and infuriating to have an entire afternoon's work go *poof* on you.

Hi Lexxi
Hope you're doing as okay as you can...

I'm still torqued at what Photobutt did to your work!
I had been tempted to sign up with them when I first got online. GLAD I didn't.
