definitely, venus in sag is basically the fire sign version of gemini.

what u really want, is a earth venus, or venus libra.

Nothing wrong with Venus in Sag ~ I have lived with one for years and I can report he is as broad-minded, tolerant and intelligent as the placement suggests. He's a very warm and generous person.

No, I don't want to swap for an earth or Libran Venus, thank you all the same.

Got gemini- lol I was born on nov16 too :P She has lots of air and fire. The Sag venus+ scorpio sun I mentioned has capricorn moon+mars, scorpio mercury, pisces jupiter But I think with all those serious signs, his Sagittarius becomes more noticable, your girlfriend had more Libra in her it seems

Well I can tell you about a Venus in Sagittarius person I know, these people are never happy at home, they must live abroad or travel (probably because the ruler of her fourth is her Venus)! They are spontaeneous, fiesty, talkative and well fiery. The one I know is a Scorpio. She can love deeply and passionately. She is loyal and very charming. Yet, like Gemini, flirtatious and she said her weakness is men LOL.

I had a Capricorn boyfriend with a Libra rising and Venus in Sagittarius - he definitely had a roving eye. He was loyal to me, but told me that he'd cheated on every women he'd ever been with. I'm pretty sure he was faithful, but I did end up breaking up with him.

This was a very long time ago though and we were both extremely young. He was a sweetheart, and had a good heart, and we didn't part ways bitterly at all.
Not my favorite place for Venus to be in, but I think it really depends on your own chart and what kind of intimacy you require.

I'd love to meet a man with this Venus- its opposite mine, and all the Sagittarius Suns I know either have Capricorn Venus, which I'm not a fan of, way too traditional or Scorpio Venus which creates a lot of jealousy issues. I suppose it really all depends on what other signs are involved with Venus in Sagittarius, if its all fire, talk about a player, lol!

I know a female with Capricorn Sun & Sagittarius Venus, she drops men at the drop of a hat, and is a bit superficial, she only dates men with a 6-pack, weird! I thought people didn't care about stuff like that. Its hard enough to even find someone, if their physique isn't perfect does that really justify dumping someone?

i have venus in sag. i'm female though.

i wonder a lot about this one. mine's at an anaretic degree (29th) so i am supposedly wrapping up my sagittarius lessons with this one, so i do feel a tug toward capricorn and relate to venus in cap as much as venus in sag.

it inclines to a very ADVENTUROUS spirit and love of all things new and exciting, which can make cheating tempting, in a way. i'm never tempted though when i'm with someone but i think it's all my fixed planets accounting for my strong loyalty. BUT i can see how the temptation is there with this placement. mostly we are fun loving and sort of not unlike leo in that we are highly optimistic and just want people to be happy and have a good time. but i would say that to be involved with a sag venus, you'd need a somewhat adventurous spirit yourself or else *potentially*, if things were routine, the temptation could be too much. we NEED adventure and freedom and new experiences to learn and grow from. i'm not sure if i know any other venus sags (none come to mind), but i have never cheated on a boyfriend and i was loyal till the very last drop was squeezed out of my relationships in the past!

Hmm, Heartcakes, what your describing sounds like myself as well, I suppose this is because I've got Sag. Asc., no one seems to tie me down, and I'm definitely one to seek adventure, sometimes I don't even relate to my Leo Sun, I suppose because it is in the 8th house, which reduces the ego-drives and need for control of a typical Leo Sun. I've also got Gemini Venus, which does seem similar to Sag. Venus except that I assume Sag. Venus would be more forward than a Gemini Venus, and less superficial, maybe, in a general sense...

well i am a sag AC as well and it's 5 deg from my venus so sometimes i'm really not sure there's much differentiation! the other thing i wanted to say about venus in sag (and even maybe AC!) is that we are quite flirty. it's weird but it's really not meant to be sexual, it's ALL about fun! like you know how kids are when they have fun and tease and play games and jokes on one another like ALL THE TIME? well we never really lost that and don't understand why anyone else did. so maybe that makes us seem like we've got roving eyes when honestly, it is very innocent, but i'm coming to find, can be misleading. which sucks. i do it with all my female friends too, to the point they often think i must be bisexual secretly! oh dear. still not sure how to work with that one.. people just got sex on the brain i guess!

Why does Venus in Gemini have such a bad reputation? I have Venus (and ascendant) in Gemini and I'm faithful as one can be. Probably my Taurus sun is balancing it out. My girlfriend is a Sag with Venus in Sag. LOL. I hope she's not unfaithful although she would not commit.
