My previous thread disappeared and I couldn't even see if someone answered to it but it would have been important for me... it was about Uranus transiting through natal houses, I shared some of my experiences about it and I'm curious about others' opinion and experiences. (Uranus is ruler of my 6th and was in my 3rd at birth.)Uranus entered my 4th house when I was 5. Changes happened in my family life: my sister was born (2 months before Uranus entered my 4th), my mother survived breast cancer (5 years later, but Uranus was still in 4th.) Uranus entered my 5th when I was 13, went retrograde then reentered it when I was 14; it was during this period that I decided to be a writer, and I wrote a lot during those years. I was ill for more than a year during this period, I'm not sure it had anything to do with Uranus, though (maybe it was an influence of Pluto on my natal Sun). Uranus entered my 6th when I was 22 and got my first job within 2 months or so. For me these past years were mostly about work. Uranus enters my 7th within a few months, I'm really curious of what it might bring... (already entered it once but went retro and is at the end of my 6th now...) Anyone wants to share info about their Uranus transits? IP: Logged |

Uranus rules my 6th and is in 1st. Currently in 7th--upsets in marriage, want more freedom, want more usual people (like me, astrology intrests etc--my hubby disapproves of that stuff)which brought me to this forum for example. When in my 6th I had health issues, and became involved with faith healing. In 5th, had kids, surprise (to me!) IP: Logged |

I have Uranus in my 6th house in my natal chart and HATE 9-5 work, so I'm self-employed. As for transits, I have Uranus transiting my 11th now - I spent almost a year in Egypt and met a lot of new, interesting people. I've also cut off contact with some friends who I've known for years and who I didn't feel were loyal to me. I think Uranus transits in the 11th effect friendships...new, unusual people come into the picture, old friends fall away sometimes. Uranus is also opposing my natal 5th house Sun in this transit and it's had tremendous impact on my life. A lot of changes, lots up in the air. BIG stuff. My thoughts feel like they are getting liberated, but my sense of stability is definitely threatened. On the other end, I am getting pummeled by an exact Saturn conjunction transiting my Sun...so it has NOT been fun. Kinda schizophrenic actually. I'd just like to add that Saturn conjunct the Sun in transit really sucks for creativity and creative inspiration. IP: Logged |

Uranus rules my 3rd house, and is located in my first house conjunct Saturn which are both retrograde. Uranus is or has moved to my 4th house (it depends on which house system I use). When Uranus is RX its rebellion-like energies have integrated more at a internal level, plus Saturn RX is more of a eccentric when RX, so the conjunction between these two RX seem to have different effects on me, than what they traditionally represent. My transiting Sun was conjunct Saturn and Uranus a few weeks ago, and I had another internal revelation within myself. I really want to learn more about how RX's effect people, I've been studying Carl Jung's chart because he has RX Saturn in the first house, and he's a Leo Sun like myself, and his Moon is located in third house. ------------------ Sun - Leo Moon - Pisces Ascendant - Sagittarius IP: Logged |

Uranus rules my third house and is natally in my 1st house. It's transiting my fourth (and I can't freakin wait until it hits the 5th). I got laid off from my job, find A LOT more home time, have been spending it working on my novel and job hunting of course. I have moved quite a bit during Uranus' visit to house 4. Mostly bad stuff, to be honest.IP: Logged |

Deja vu, WaterDog! You also have Uranus in the first, and it rules the 3rd, and its transiting the 4th house, you must have Sagittarius ascendant as well! I'm having problems finding a job as well...IP: Logged |

I'm the same. I have Uranus in 6th and like you, I cannot do 9 to 5 work. I just cannot do it. I have commitment problems with day-to-day routines and can't tolerate "having" to be somewhere at a designated time on a routine basis. IP: Logged |

Oh, PeaceAngel, I felt like a major flake to be that way initially, but in truth I was actually pretty relieved to eliminate that part of my life...I tried, it didn't work, and now I can rest assured that I don't need to force myself to do something that I hate anyway IP: Logged |

MVMYes, I understand about the flake thing. Because you tell yourself that if others can get themselves motivated to do it.... but, you just take yourself as you are and find a way around it. Different things for different people. IP: Logged |

uranus will conjunct my DC in May )) how exciting lol and its going to square my moon, i already know im moving house in may because my lease finishes on the 25th of april. Then im going overseas... my chart will change then to my relocation chart. Funny thing is that uranus is going into my 7th house about relationships and my SR chart ascendant is in capricorn which is my 5th house and moon is also in my 5th. So i think uranus is going to bring me something really good. When uranus went in m 4th house my brother was born and we mved house. When it was in my 5th I had heaps of boyfriends but i was very young they were nothing serious. When it was in my 6th house nothing happened either . I always got a job and then got bored and left my job but thats just me, nothing to do with uranus i hate working lol ------------------ Sun.. Cancer Moon.. Gemini Mars.. Cancer Mercury.. Cancer Venus.. Leo Ascendant....... Virgo IP: Logged |

Uranus in 9th house 0 degrees of cap natalyhe is well into my 12th house now. I don't really remember what it was like while it transited my 10th house. Transiting through eleventh house made me make friends alot harder. I couldn't ever commit to the "best friend" titule. still can't actually. Didn't really feel like a happy time, friends dreams or hopes wise Entering my 12th house it's brought me more skill in forming bonds with friends. It also surfaced some of the stuff I was determined to forget about. Certainly forced me to dig through myself. I avoid doctors and hospitals at all costs. Not sure if thats related mainly with this particular transit. Should also mention that now it squares my sag sun, which hasn't been the most pleasant experience.

Hi MS, don't know if you'll want to hear my horrible stories with Uranus transiting through my 7th, but for the sake of sharing experiences, here goes. Please don't get freaked out though, as I also have my Sun, Moon, and Mercury in the 10th house, so my transiting Uranus in the 7th squared all those personal planets at some point through the journey. As Uranus transited through my 7th the following events occured in my life: -Ended a 7 year relationship with my first love. (An amazing Virgo man) -Met another man the next month, and dated for 4 months, until I found out he was cheating on me, and broke up. -Met another man who was all wrong for me but fell in love with him anyway. (His chart ruler was Uranus. He was unpredictable and unstable) -I got married shortly after. -Got pregnant. -Moved residences. -Gave birth to my daughter. (via C-section) -Quit my job to be a stay at home mom. -Found out my husband was cheating. -Moved out. -Found another job. -Got divorced. -My daughter had a fibrial seizure. -Moved again. -My mom fell down a flight of stairs. -My car broke down on a major highway, so i had to get another one. -Depression hit in October. That's my Uranus transiting through my 7th house...in a nutshell. I'm sure there is more, but I forget right now. I think as long as Uranus is not badly aspecting any personal planets, you'll be fine. The positive things that came about from all of this tragedy, is that I learned a lot about myself, and became more of an adult. With your Uranus transiting your 7th, make sure to be mindful not to let it make you a cold and distant person in your relationships. Good luck! IP: Logged |

mystic starlight.I think uranus through the 7th isnt so bad.. Im going to be going through the same thing as you.. is moving on my DC about to enter my 7th. I think as long as you arent in a relationship its prolly better.. so if you are single its more beneficial. it could bring unexpected love when in the 7th. do you also have a virgo Ascendant? I just remember reading that during a uranus transit to the 7th that the late paul newman had met his to be wife for the rest of his life. thats kind of inspiring.. I hope I meet a soulmate.

MS, let me also clarify that I also had my saturn return at the same time as my Uranus transit in my 7th, so a lot of those bad experienes could have been Saturn teaching me my lessons! Just be wary of your relationships. A lot of breakups happen during this time. IP: Logged |

I can soooo relate to everyone here who mentioned that Uranus in the 6th makes it difficult to hold down a 9-5 job. I've been self-employed while going to school for the past 10 years. After a brief stint working for the government I realized that a routine work life was not for me.I have Uranus Rx conjunct Vertex in the 6th/Scorpio. In addition, Scorpio is intercepted. Uranus rules my MC and about the time it hit I started one career which I've maintained for about ten years. Now Uranus is about halfway through my 11th house, I'm almost done school and I'm guessing that when NN conjuncts my MC shortly I'll make another career change. During its stay in my 11th I've had the experience of losing and gaining many friends. But I think that the 11th is probably one of the easier houses for a Uranus transit considering the fact that it's Uranus' house. The only difficulty has been in the area of romance. With all of the 5th house oppositions, it's made men pop up out of nowhere and relationships have begun and ended with a bang. Also, Uranus has been retrograding over and over my Valentine for such a long time now. I'll be glad when that's over. IP: Logged |

Gem, I'm sorry you had so bad experiences with Uranus...I'm single; there was someone I thought to be my soulmate but he's not in my life any more. My asc is Virgo. It's very inspiring what you said about Paul Newman. Having a 9-5 job has never been my cup of tea... I was self-employed from the beginning (must be that the ruler of my 10th is conjunct Uranus natally.) IP: Logged |

paul newman met joanne woodward during this transit...he also left his then wife to be with joanne...so the disruptions can sweep the scene clean for new relationships...IP: Logged |

Uranus will hit my seventh house around my 41st birthday...when I have a lot of potential marital aspects coming up at that time, both progression and transit.Figures, doesn't it? I only hope it's on the good side (unexpected is the only way it happens to me). IP: Logged |
