I've been feeling a bit down lately, and just feel like there is no magic in my life. I want to feel like my life has some greater purpose than this day to day grind. I know it seems childish to wish for something incredible and magical to happen in my life, cause it would be unrealistic to think anything like wonderful magic exists...but I so WANT it!Does it exist? Has anyone had anything happen to them that has just been "magic"? Something unreal, and mystical and wonderful that cannot be explained? If so, can you please share these stories, so that maybe I can have some hope that magical things can exist in this dull existence! I'm not asking for drama in my life or anything! I've experienced THAT way too many times this past year. I just want wonderful, MAGIC..something extraordinary! Does it exist? IP: Logged |

I think life itself is a magic, even if it doesnt seems like this always!Im kinda feeling the same as you now, but i truly believe in miracles and anything else which just happens to make you feel happy. There's a guy who i love quite deeply, but we are just friends. And even though this situation is very painful at times, when we're chatting or locking eyes, then it simply feels like being in another world or sth, lol. The soul connection between us is absolutely amazing. And these are really those kind of moments when i know that there's so much more in life than just the everyday routine. Just keep your heart open IP: Logged |

I feel down a lot lately, and I totally know what you mean by needing a level of 'magic' Sometimes I get distracted by something really lovely, like the way the sun is hitting the water, or I get a random memory of something funny. Sometimes when I go into my brooding mode, I get a very sarcastic voice in my head which cracks a joke about how I'm being, and makes me LOL. Sometimes I get another voice which just cuts through everything and says the most profoundly simple thing which makes me momentarily happy. To me, that's magic. It's the magic of the moment. It's not huge, but I feel if we give even the smallest gratitude to those moments, then we are saying 'Yes' to the Universe and telling it that we are open for more magic... And it does end up giving us what we want, because how you're feeling now won't last, it's always going to transform into something else

I love sunsets. I love bacon, eggs and hash browns. I love live performances. I love watching children play. All of these things can make me go "Ahhh"......However! My magical moments have occurred around someone that literally knocked my socks off/blew me away/melted and left me dizzy!!!! I suddenly felt elated, like my body has been given a shot of super vitamins!!! And then there were the "moments" when I "knew" I would see her, and there she mysteriously appeared!!! These were truly {{{{{MAGICAL}}}} moments. I felt beautiful around her However, these "moments" could only be passing moments, as Life has complexities and responsibilities that keep me going on my fateful path, without ever knowing why those magic moments ever happened. Magic moments, for me, are few and far between. Life has ups and downs and can be pretty ordinary, in that respect. That's why I set goals and work quietly in the background, savouring every moment I have in this amazing lifetime that seems to zoom by at an incredible speed. I'm sure you will experience something one day, that will leave you feeling breathless

Yesterday, my 18 month old toddler son climbed onto an advertizing stage [when the ad men had gone for a break] in our city's most popular mall and stunned thousands of spectators by dancing alone to the background music, creating precise dance steps for the beats. It was as if he made time stop in a busy mall! No stage fright at all, he behaved like a mega star dancer who has been dancing on stage for ages. I felt that was a magical moment in my life. ------------------ http://www.tamsoft.co.in/articles.html IP: Logged |

I agree, boylovegirl, that life IS magic. As a Leo, when I'm feeling down, I find ways to see the magic by feeding myself with tons of inspiration--total immersion in theater, art, and literature. I think if you do the things your Sun Sign loves or your Jupiter loves, that's a fast track to experiencing magic and miracles in life. IP: Logged |
