If it's your pr.moon to natal jupiter,then it depends on what sign and house jupiter is in natally and what house has Sagittarius on the cusp. It also matters what house has cancer on the cusp and what house and sign the natal moon is in.

Other then that the generic response to moon to jupiter is interest in expanding an area of life, a positive emotional period and general good luck.

Is a progressed moon conjunct Jupiter or progressed moon conjunct the chart ruler a rare occurrence?

Oh, I'm about to have this one too! (Moon conj Jupiter)
I think it's a great, positive aspect! You should also check the house the conjunction it's in (in your progressed chart).

I've been through Moon conj chart ruler a few years ago, I had an ugly romantic break-up at that time (Moon rules natal DC). But chart ruler is Saturn, so I'm sure his bad boy reputation had more to do with the break-up than him being my chart ruler.
So I don't think you have anything to worry about. Moon rules 8th house you say? Plenty of sex, mystery, studying psychology or perhaps receiving an inheritance from an aunt you didn't know existed.

The progressed chart works by the rule 1 day = 1 year. The Moon returns to its position every 28 days, so it will take 28 years for your progressed Moon to conjunct Jupiter again.

Hi! Yes, I guess I do! It's happening in my natal 10th and my progressed 9th house. I have a new job, I must move to a new city and it's a learning experience. I'm excited about it! My career is finally taking off!
In your case, I would guess it has to do with your daily job, as well, or maybe health? And 4th house - perhaps buying a new house? (since natal 8th house is also activated)
