is that every sign is usually in its opposite house. what does this MEAN? for instance, aries moon in the 7th, or NN in taurus in the 8th, or venus in libra in the first. i get that it's about BALANCE but i don't quite get why; what the corroloation is here between libra rising and a weird balance-paradox thing in the chart. is there simple answer to this (or even a complicated one!)?

hi scorp! well of course every chart is different. what i meant was the opposite sign-house thing. like your gemini NN in the house ruled by sag- its opposing sign.

i just wonder if there is something to this. i'm not sure if i'm explaining this right, but because libra is obsessed with balance, it's interesting that this should occur within most of the horroscope, and i'm wondering WHY? um, like at a metaphysical level.

i love Libra risings, they are way more Venusian (is that a word?) and serene than Libra suns. Libra moons are calm too, but they're more cheeky.

I think the unusual thing that it brings about is that usually the things that are personal are found in the non-personal/the "other" houses.
And the things that are non-personal/the"other" are found in the personal houses.
This is something unique in the libra experience in that they become individuals through being in a relationship. Said another way their developement as a seperate person occurs by defining themselves always in the context of relationships.
The usual way is for people to become develope their identity and then bring that to the relationship, libras define who they are by their relationship.
And hence why we see every house in the opposite if the place it naturally rules. The "other" is more prominant and intertwined in a libra's chart.
