I do have a "theory" about strong attractions and houses. If you find an emphasis on a recurring theme in those with whom you have the greatest association, then maybe this is serving a deep need within you.

1st house/ascendant: A strong need to be with those you can "identify" with as it relates to the way you project yourself into the world. These people help you to be more effective in the way that you present yourself in general. They can also lead you astray if you're not careful, as you may overidentify with your outer personae and keep your associations at a "superficial level" as a result.

5th house: A strong need to have fun with those with whom you associate, and to simply enjoy each others company and spirit, which in turn strengthens your bonds, and invigorates and restores your own sense of pleasure in life and pleases your spirit. It can also lead to an increase in creativity. However, it can also lead to an over-indulgence in "fun for the sake of fun," and become an endless party.

7th house: A strong need to learn the art of "give and take," and to find an "equal" to share with intimately. You enjoy a "healthy competition" which pushes you both to grow and learn where to "draw the line" in the spirit of "fair play." You are faced with the "other" both within and without.

10th house: A strong need to be seen as "important" and to find purpose within the community. You are made more conscious of your own sense of responsibility and the possibility of what you can do with your abilities. If taken to an extreme, one may become too reliant on the praise of others, but never establish any truly intimate relationships and be "left alone on the pillar of praise."

11th house: A strong need to feel "well connected" as well as to feel like your place is intregal within this network and thus serving the "big picture" to create a better community overall. Awakens a call to share what you have to offer in a spirit of both challenge and cooperation. If
taken too far, then one may become too superficial in the ties that bind, and be "a friend by all" but "known by none."

4th house: A strong need to feel a "kindred spirit" and form a "clan" and/or incorporate your intimates into your own family structure. You need emotional connections that strike down to the soul with a resonates of familiarity. You need emotionally nurturing and protective people around you to feel secure and to grow. If taken too far, then the friends may become too burdened by your needs and unable to find the proper and healthy "emotional distance" so that both of you can grow. This can lead to break-ups as a result.

I have always had a similar theory about houses and attractions in mind just could not put it into words; I think this description is cool and very insightful.

Oh bologna, I just read the link lol

It's about the sign on the cusp of the house,and not the emphasis on the house in the natal. XP

"..8th house: you have a strong need to dig to the core of yourself and with whom you form close, intimate ties. You seek transformation, and want to discover what is beneath, between, and behind anything that separates you from each other. You are either unaware of your own power and feel that your ties and experiences with the other will make you more powerful, or you are very aware of your power and crave to increase it. This can be healthy when circumstances bring these people at a crucial time in your life. It can be unhealthy when taken to extremes because this is another "house of inequality!" Power struggles will likely erupt if you seek out people who are obviously less evolved and take advantages of their vulnerabilities. This is a very powerful house, fraught with "upheavals," and crisis that can tear people apart as much as transform them. Handle with care..."

Though this echos may 8th house stellium..Which is ruled by the Sun. Talk about a power-trip..-_-;
