HAve u checked your Solar return chart for this year? I mean past year...2008. Starting date wud be your birthday. My rising sign this year for my Solar return was Sagittarius...and YEs...I weigh more than I have ever...its ok, iv always been a bit slender, But WOW..I really have a booty now! LOll!!!

LOL...I'm Asian, so unfortunately the weight does not go to my booty or breasts. It goes right to my face, arms, and belly. I've always wanted some booty though.

I've never done a solar return chart before, so I'll be curious to see!

I worked back about 20 years to find out when that hit ~ no is the answer.

Enjoy the ice-cream. Eat your fill.

If you start to feel bad remember Lent isn't that far off. Do a no-sweets over Lent thing. After you have finished you will be in the habit of eating a lot less sugary snacks and it will last for a long time.

If you are non-Christian this is a useless answer. So sorry if that is the case. But I suppose you could just adapt the idea and do a no-sweet snacks over April or something.

thank you blue moon, I was starting to get worried, jupiter will very soon be in my 6th.

I thought you're supposed to gain weight when jupiter is in 1st and lose when saturn goes through. I currently have saturn transiting 1st and even though I normally weigh only 105lbs, I went down to 98!!! Crazy, anyway I'm back to normal.

I have saturn transiting 6th and I lost all of the extRA weight I had

my observations are that jupiter conjunct AC brings gaining weight.

Oh, and a relative of mine gained major weight during Jupiter 2nd house transit. This is the first time he's put on that much weight, and it just keeps on piling up.

Jupiter's transiting my 1st house right now.

Suddenly, people are calling me a genius, I'm totally inspired, hot men are interested BUT I'm getting fat!!!

Jupiter expands the house it's transiting...so a 1st house transit might expand your body. A 6th house transit would expand your health, if well-aspected. That means if gaining a bit of weight was healthy for you, you would (even if it doesn't nec. fit popular beauty ideals--Jupiter likes ancient goddesses), and if losing was healthy, you might.

In your case, GemGemGem, maybe you've needed a little emotional TLC and to treat yourself to some sweets.

i gained 50 kilos in the past 4 years. in 2005 jupiter was in libra which is m 2nd house. now i want to know if i will ever loose these kilos?

LOL, yes I definitely feel like I'm indulging in the sweets to compensate for other unfulfilled needs I have at the moment. Actually, chocolate has been a good substitute, if only it didn't have so many calories. I am a "healthier" weight now by medical standards, but I'm not used to myself being "curvier". I feel like one of those Boticelli girls.

I'm experiencing the same transit, and I gained weight, but now I'm losing it. It's not necessarily weight gain that it signifies, but feeling optimistic about health, which made me lazy. But now I'm taking care of it, esp. since sun is also transiting 6th this month.

Alas, not really...but with the Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars transiting my 1st house, and the Sun trine my Mars and sextile my Jupiter, I have so much much good luck that no one is noticing the little jelly belly...

I have this in my natal chart, and I was definitely chubby as a child. I don't seem to have this problem anymore, but I suppose if this is a transit the weight gain would be more obvious as a transit than when its in the natal chart. I guess I'll have to wait till it transits my sixth house, right now its transiting my 2nd house...

My mother in law has jupiter natally in her 1st house conj sun. She must weigh well over 300lbs.

I wouldn't mind it transiting in the 2nd so my wallet could fatten up!
