I want to know some aspects from synastry/composite of people with experience with this question. No guesses but from actual first hand experience or knowledge.IP: Logged |

It's probably different for everyone, but my synastry with my ex had: His sun conjunct my Midheaven, his Venus conjunct my North Node. Also, his 7th house cusp was in Virgo, which is where my Sun landed. He had Pluto in there, which is my 7th house cusp. My 7th house cusp is in Scorpio, with Neptune in there - which echoed his Pieces rising. Also, both of our 7th house rulers had a lot of aspects to one another's charts: My Pluto was heavily aspected with him, and his Mercury was heavily aspected with me. I have found that when 7th house rulers have a lot of aspects (especially strong ones to the other's personal planets), it makes people somehow more likely to want a form of commitment. Just from my own experience it's felt that way. And I hate to say it, but some Saturn stuff figures in. In our synastry, his Saturn squared my Sun. My Saturn opposed his Venus. Bound. Whether or not you like it. LOL. Interestingly, our composite was very smooth and nice (barely a reflection of the marriage itself really). But just about all of our planets fell into the 7th and 8th house. I don't feel that's a sole indication though, because I've seen a lot of marriages with planets clustering in other houses. However, one theory I've read (I think it was in Cafeastrology?) seems to hold somewhat true so far: If it's a significant involvement, most likely planets do tend to cluster together in only 2-3 houses at most - if the planets in the composite are scattered and all over the place, then the relationship itself is a bit scattered perhaps, and maybe doesn't know where it 'stands'. I've heard a lot about Sun conjunct Moon as indicative of marriage, but I've had that and it didn't become marriage. Marriage was discussed, yes, but I don't like my Moon conjunct someone's Sun. Feels stifling to me. That's just me though. I think it can bind people, and the closer the conjunction, the higher the odds of feeling bound in some way to the other. IP: Logged |

okay, my synastry with my nutter ex husband looks like this:his sun/NN/saturn conjunct my AC/moon/venus/NN/saturn (ALL his planets listed were in my 12th house!) my sun/mercury conjunct his DC my mars in his 7th house grrrr not nice his AC in my 7th his neptune in my 7th COMPOSITE considering we fought all the time we have a huge stellium in 3rd H of: sun/mercury/venus/saturn/NN mars in 4th - OUCH! moon in 6th - yeah, l felt like l was his slave. jupiter in 7th rest of the planets scattered all over the place! I just peeked at my synastry/composite with my present bf cos it feels like we are destined and: his NN conjunct my AC/moon/venus/saturn/NN his venus conjunct my MC his MC conjunct my DC my DC in his 11th his moon/mercury in my 11th my sun/moon/venus/saturn/NN/AC in his 5th his jupiter in my 5th nothing in each other's 7th is that bad? my AC in his 8th
COMPOSITE venus & sun/moon conjunct in 1st chiron/mercury/saturn/mas/NN in 2nd jupiter/pluto/uranus in 7th neptune in 9th conjunct MC so yeah, l agree with the cluster effect. IP: Logged |

My moon sextiles my husband sun. (sun/moon connections are one indication of marriage possibility)His sun is also the ruler of his asc.My venus/mars conj in his 7th (venus conj his desc) (usually there is a connection between the desc of one to chart of other) My sun opposite his mars/jupiter conj (yup we fight) His sun/moon coj. sextiles my jupiter (lots of joking around) His venus opposite my venus/mars conj--this opposition falls over his asc/desc line. Those are the most important one we have.

No one aspect really indicates marriage, look to the 7th houses. Especially planets closely conjuncting the 7th cusp (desc.)in the synastry chart, or several planets in 7th in composite.IP: Logged |

My Marraige (which is no more)I want to first share a couple things I have come across. "The prime significators of the wife in a man's chart are Venus and the Moon. In a woman's chart, the prime significators of the husband are the Sun and Mars. The sign and house placement of these planets in the nativity, as well as placements of and aspects to the rulers of the 5th and 7th houses, indicate the type of mate the native is likely to attract or be attracted to." " In my observation, the most powerful cross-aspects in love relationships are the man's Moon or Venus conjunct or oppose the woman's Sun, Mars, ascendant or ruler of the ascendant; and correspondingly, the woman's Sun or Mars oppose or conjunct the man's Moon, Venus, ascendant or ruler of the ascendant. " By Jaquie Smith His Sun and Mars TRINE my Ascendant My Moon and Venus TRINE his Ascendant My Merc conjct. Mars is Conjunct w/ his MC (10th house cusp/angle) My NN sits almost exactly on his IC. (4th house cusp.angle) My Moon conjuncts exactly his NN in his 5th house. ( we had children together, also I have been instrumental in his musical/entertainment career/hobby) My Mars SEXTILE his Venus (Mars is ruler of my asdnt, Venus is ruler of his asdnt) He has one aspect from his Saturn to me only..and that is trining Pluto. Apparently, I have/had the majority of lessons to teach. My Saturn squares his Moon and Mercury. My Saturn Trines his Venus and Uranus. The ruler of his desendant his Venus (Taurus)or Mars (Aries)(its a close call..technically mars..but almost into venus) the ruler of My desendant is Venus (Libra) Either way...Mars and Venus SEXTILE eachother in our charts and Venus and Venus TRINE eachother widley (over 8 degrees)

CrabbyFish ~ If you go to astro.com or whichever program you use I suppose, you can do a harmonic chart. You just click on harmonic chart/day and then make the date with whichever number you'd like to make up your harmonic chart. For example, put in the number 9 to make a novile or 9th harmonic chart. Many astrologers use that to get a read on a person's marriage partner. writesomething ~ I can give you some of the aspects between my grandmother and grandfather who were married for 60 years. the only problem is that their birth times are pretty sketchy, so aspects are all I have. If I remember correctly, you're not a fan of asteroids so I have not included any, but I will if you're interested Synastry ~ His Sun, Moon and Mercury trine her Venus His NN conjunct her Neptune His Vertex conjunct her Mercury His Moon and Venus sextile her Pluto Her Sun and Mercury conjunct his Pluto Her Moon sextile his Venus and Jupiter Her Mars and NN conjunct his Venus Venus square Saturn double whammy His Uranus trine her Mercury, Venus and Pluto His Sun oppose her Uranus His Saturn square her Mars and NN Her Moon square his Pluto His Moon square her Neptune That's not all of it, but it's a sampling. Composite ~ (without houses unfortunately) Sun conjunct Mercury, Neptune and NN Sun (Merc, Nep and NN) square Mars Moon conjunct Venus Moon square Saturn and Chiron Moon and Venus trine Uranus Venus square Saturn and quincunx Jupiter Pluto sextile Mars Jupiter sesquisquare Sun, Mercury and Mars Jupiter quincunx Moon and Venus Jupiter square Uranus I included those minor aspects since Jupiter was basically making hard but minor aspects to almost everything except: Jupiter sextile Saturn IP: Logged |
