quote: The first time this influence occurs it signifies that you are no longer an adolescent and must take your position as an adult. It signifies rebellion against established standards, which is the reason so many young people go through a period of rejecting everything that they have been taught. It is necessary for you to experience your own individuality by asserting it against someone else's. There is nothing wrong in this, and the constant challenges of youth help keep society alive. It also helps you, because you need to be on your own and find your own ways of doing things, unhampered by the ways of the past, which may no longer be appropriate. Even if you do not go through an especially rebellious phase, this will still be a time of intense and rapid change, when you go out into the world and pursue your own goals without the comfort and security of doing what your elders tell you. Doing what you are told may not always have been pleasant, but it did allow you to avoid responsibility, which you will have to take on now.
This sounds intense and definitely will bring some major changes, when I read this I was a little awestruck. I just moved out on my own yesterday, and transformations will definitely arise from this, I wonder how Uranus transiting my 3rd and squaring my natal first house will manifest? ------------------ Sun - Leo Moon - Pisces Ascendant - Sagittarius IP: Logged |

Hi MissNeptune,There's nothing really that intense about it because everyone goes through it. There are billions of different experiences. It's called "being in your twenties". You know, graduating from high school, going into college, doing crazy wacky things in college or just getting your first job and living on your own for the first time. It's very basic. At the age of 40 - 42 which is what I'm going through, many people re-assess their lives, many people have intense issues in their marriages, many people divorce at that time, they call it a midlife crisis, but it's not a crisis for everyone. It can be a second childhood. Some men buy sports cars, women get plastic surgery, etc. I'm generalizing, but that's just to give you an idea. Back in 2003 my grandmother turned 84, it was her Uranus Return. Many elderly people experience issues with independent living, making decisions about whether to remain independant or accept new living arrangements. My grandmother had a health issue. She was diagnosed with heart failure, but it is manageable and she's doing well with it now. Uranus is just another marker of larger life phases. I say enjoy your new found independence. Use it wisely, but have fun. Geocosmic Valentine IP: Logged |

My Uranus square Uranus coincided with me breaking away from accepting any more money from my father during university and basically paying my own way. This happened because I started a career at the same time which allowed me to take care of myself. Uranus was also conjuncting my MC at the time and Jupiter was moving through my 10th house.I also stopped speaking to my mother, rather suddenly, which lasted for about a year. Transiting Uranus was also approaching a square with my Moon. A year later when the square was almost exact, I began speaking with my mother bit by bit once again. IP: Logged | |
