Topic: Looking To Your 6th House For Style!

Does anyone else look at their sixth house to determine how they dress? I read somewhere that the sixth house rules how we dress anyone agree or disagree?From my own experience I have natal Jupiter in Gemini in the sixth house, so I dress big and bold, and own lot's of clothing and variety is very important for me! ------------------

my 6th is in capricorn, i do like suites.edit - actually, i got it wrong, nep/uranus/saturn are in my 5th, not my 6th.
i like oldfashion, i like to dress kind of smart, but nice.
polo shirts, shirts, tops, polo jumpers, jeans, nice coats. dno? :S IP: Logged |

no, can't say that it applies to me. I have sagittarius on my 6th house cusp, with mars and neptune placed in there. There's absolutely nothing sagittarius or mars like about my dress style. Maybe a bit of neptune, but not really. My style is my venus in capricorn in the 7th through and through. Quite classic, tailored suits and whatever jewellery I wear tends to be unusual which is probably my venus square uranus.IP: Logged |

The 6th house probably influences the way we dress, but I'm pretty sure that the Asc. and Venus also influences us as well. Like you said Annaf, it doesn't seem to apply to you as much. Taurus is actually on my 6th house cusp as well, I'm not sure if this influences my style or not, but my Venus is Gemini, so I've got a double whammy of Gemini influence for style, however I'm not exactly sure how a Gemini influence would dress? ------------------

Yes, I have venus conj mars in aquarius in the 6th. I love fashion, I like casual sexy with a hippie flavor. 6th expresses my style better than the 1st.IP: Logged |

I definitely agree!I have Mars in Gemini in the sixth house and I love to wear red! My Mars also trines Pluto in Scorpio, so I do love to wear black and grey as well. IP: Logged |

Hi missneptune and everyoneWhat a great thread, I like these kinda topics because you can get a good impromptu survey of what people find is relevant. I have: Cancer on 6th cusp with Jupiter, Moon in Gem in 5th
Venus in Virgo on 8th cusp. I had always thought I dressed like a venus in virgo but yes I do think there is a Cancer element as my 6th house sign. Whenever I dress, my breasts seem to attract attention...and it has annoyed me for years...just starting to come to terms with it now (ha!) coz...lets face it, with age you gotta count your pluses. er i don't realy know what my style is...it does need improvement tho..
i have sun (leo), moon/mercury (virgo) in the 6th.

I have Scorpio on the cusp of my 6th, Pluto is in my 5th.I'm very much into fashion, it's my hobby (5th house influence). I dress in simple colors (usually dark) with weird shapes/silhouettes. I'm a Balenciaga/Givenchy girl (if I had the money that is), so I try to dress like those brands. My Venus is in Pisces in my 10th. I guess a 10th house Venus would be into high fashion brands, but I think the Scorpio influence is why I like to dress darkly. IP: Logged |
