i know some one with a profound mind, they can be be very withdrawn, aloof, and they think alot and say little. what aspects or placements (planets or houses?) can cause some one to be a deep thinker, who seems to have a profound mind, this person spoke to me the other day, she complained about how she doesn't fit in socially, and how everyone today enjoys 'small talk' conversations, and if she goes into deep or profound conversations, people just give her a "your talking rubbish" line, she feels she isn't good at fitting in 'small talk' conversations, but enjoys really interesting conversations. i don't have her birth data yet, but i plan to get it soon. any ideas though? Profound would be a Saturn aspect with Mercury. Investigative, would be a Pluto aspect with Mercury. Genius would be a Uranus conjunction with Mercury. Artistic would be a Venus aspect with Mercury Hyperactive would be a conjunction with Mars and Mercury.I'm forgetting some, so I'll leave it for you guys to give the definitions. Out IP: Logged |

Your friend is an INTJ. It's a personality type developed by meyers-brigg. I am also one. I am an aqua sun, merc/cap, square uranus and pluto. Prominent saturn, too. IP: Logged |

It's interesting you mention Saturn and Mercury together. I agree that this aspect is very profound. A lot of people are under the impression that it brings endless learning and communication problems: stupidity, stuttering, shyness, a slow mind. It makes me think of the classic oral report hater. Much of that description is not what I see. I think it's a mind that progressively moves up the ladder. It's ambitious, gobbling up all information that comes its way. There's great understanding into human nature. Saturn's wise, thousand-year old spirit comes into play, and that indeed makes it profound. I sometimes hear ten year olds with these aspects, and they sound just as smart as some adults. You'd think they have a lot of experience. I have heard, though, that there's some sort of father complex. The father is inhibiting in some way, blocking the native's mind. Hilary Clinton is an example (Mercury square Saturn). IP: Logged |

LadyNeptune, that thing was very interesting read, it seemed like her description, although i don't know her well enough to be sure that shes an INtJ, but it would make sense.do you think there is any planetary placements or aspects that could make people 'prone' to this kind of personality type? would you post your chart? thanks to the people who put some actual input into the topic.
