So...I understand that Venus in 12th house indicates clandestine affairs. Does this mean that this is ALL the relationship will ever be? Meaning it will never be more than a private affair...or does the relationship ever "come out of the closet"..so to speak. Any personal experience or studying of other's charts would be great! Thanks

You mean in general, Crabby? I think 12th house Venus can be very idealistic, and secretive with their feelings. Can put people on pedestals in a way. Love from a afar, my love is too pure for you, etc.
I think it's more prominently shown when it's a man's Venus for some reason.

Yes I hide my feelings big time, but at some point I have to express them and when I do the guy is very shocked and he always says I had no idea..

I have 12H venus, and while there have been more than a few, most actually, of my relationships that would cause some uproar if they were public, even when there aren't any obvious reasons I should keep it quiet I still do. While I have gotten it on with both married men, men with girlfriends and my best friends exes (yes, two of them) the other times I've felt that someone would give me **** about my choice anyway, and have thus opted to keep it secret...

Well first of all..I am asking ONLY about somones Venus being in another persons 12th house. NOT in an individuals chart. Also..maybe you have studied other charts where somones venus was in another's 12th house. And lastly..I know it can indicate other things...but here we can assume the relationship IS private and it is somones venus in ANOTHER persons chart.

Hope I was more clear this time.

In other words...For as long as the relationship endures...is it most likely to always remain private. Or have any of you ever seen this type of "A's Venus in B's 12th House" relationship evolove past privacy into openness?

CrabbyFish-it was a transit. That's when I met him. It's like we have a friendship but secretly, we both know we like each other but will never commit to one another. It's been a couple of months now-but he's someone I never talk about with my gfs. In our synastry, his Jupiter falls in my 12th house, in the composite, venus, neptune and the sun all fall in the 12th house.

A friend of mine has Venus in the 12th and she constantly has secret crushes on people. She hasn't let it go beyond that, but she doesn't go for long between crushes. Part of her always wants a way "out", I think. She's happily married and the husband wouldn't be thrilled with the crushes, so...secret.

I knew someone with their venus in my 12th. We liked each other but never told one another until it was too late. There was always a magnetic pull for me, but he said he felt the same. We pretty much kept it secret from each other. There was a lot of intrigue - he found me intriguing for some reason. I idolized him.

I am having many problems right now. I don't know if its solely to blame on the circumstances we have, or either one of us. I wish someone could really analyze our chart. I don't feel good about our relationship right now, I feel I try and make things work and attempt to do and plan everything. All of those actions make me feel worthless after, because they just don't work. I've been told its the aspect to blame for all of that. I want to get the secret out in the open, but I am just so afraid of what my family will think.

Venus is ruler of my 8th house in the 12th and i married secretly to someone who noone approved and i used to hide my feelings alot and i have had other secret affairs but who hasnt? Some of those are called one night stands lol
