The only reason pluto would be involved in strong attraction is if it forms a tight aspect to a personal planet or attraction asteroid in one party's chart. In which case it would ONLY be felt by the pluto person. Pluto aspects do not go both ways in synastry.

Pluto conjunct juno for instance in person A, both of which are opposite person B's sun will mean intense, obsessive attraction for person A to person B. If person B has no reciprocal attraction planets in aspect - like juno, venus or mars - they will not feel it and it will be one sided.

Pluto is an intensifier but functions as an outer planet. It has no effect in synastry unless it aspects a personal planet that chart. The reason many think it acts on its own is bec they do not know what asteroids or inner minor planets it is aspecting.

Strong reciprocal juno aspects are probably among the most intense attraction aspects. Extremely common in marriages. Juno opposition/conjunct parallel or contraparallel sun both ways are some of the most consistently attractive aspects.

Juno in aspect to pluto which then aspects someone else's sun or north node is probably one of the most intense attractions possible.

Its obvious to anyone doing honest research.

The outer planets (from chiron on out) have no influence in synastry unless they are connected to an inner planet or major asteroid or both people are currently in a transit of that planet. Outer planet transits are timed events. They visit our world and transform it. They are not part of it in a stable way.

Bucketrider, yes, I've heard about the personal planets bearing weight on Pluto's influence. I've got it conj Mercury, so I guess that counts? And if my Pluto makes an aspect to someone else's chart, are you basically saying that it would impact me more than them?

Bucketrider, what about if person A's Venus is conjunct person B's Pluto, and person B's Venus is squared to person A's Pluto?

Says alot of intensive research.

Outer planets are generational. They are not personal. I think a good way to test this is to look honestly at an aspect you have with an outer planet. Look at relationships with people born in your year, or with pluto or neptune - within a couple of years each way. Does that theme come up in all those relationships? Bec if that aspect was truly significant, the way you feel it in your own chart as an aspect, it would come up. If they all had their mars or saturn on your sun, for instance, you would feel it. I think there are a couple of very key points which are causing a huge lack of understanding of how astrology works. The planets are organized as a system of dif parts of the sky representing dif areas of life which work by dif rules.

Outer planets are not personal planets and do not function the same way. They are not visible to the naked eye for a reason.

Lovegoblin - in my overwhelming experience - and I have researched this to death - juno aspects are felt by the juno person. Not the other person. I think there is a general rule which is that bodies which are smaller than vesta - about 500km and which do not have planetary features - such as a differentiated interior that includes a planetary core, mantle and outer crust the way all major inner planets do and are not round - do not have the same give and take that planets have. They can receive. They trigger. They cannot give. Only inner planets and saturn and jupiter can do that.

The exception would be ceres and vesta which are fundamentally dif than all other asteroids and centaurs by their size and features. They are much bigger and they have all the features of inner planets. Geological differentiation, hydrostatic equilibrium (they are basically round), they have atmospheres, planetary cores, etc. They are important relational, personal planets. Vesta has to do with trust, exclusively. For instance, people with vesta in hard and sometimes soft aspect to pluto or staurn will often have trust issues. Ceres represents family, tribe, community. It is how we function in friendly/non romantic/not exclusive or individual relationships. It is about groups. Ceres is like an inner, female jupiter and vesta is very much an inner, female saturn.

Aspects to both ceres and vesta, in my experience, go both ways. Like other personal planets. One vesta aspect to anothers personal planet is sufficient for a personal relationship (and basically mandatory - its like saturn, without which there is no relationship). It does not need to go both ways the way it would with juno or other tiny asteroids.

Interesting topic

According to your replies, this should be quite a hot synastry, right?

My Mars square her Sun
Her Mars square my Sun and Venus
She has Sun in Scorpio ;-D
My Lilith conjunct her Ascendant

The last aspect - I am not very sure how to interpret it, but I think there also should be something sexual...? Any advice?

Hi all
I would also like to know the same question that Lucia23 asked. what would be venus conjunct pluto (by 5 degrees) and venus square pluto in synastry(exact degress)? Has any one ever had this aspect and how did the 2 people feel? Was the pluto person square venus more into the relationship or was it the pluto person conjunct wide orb venus more into it? Who feels it more? does any one know of a (outside) relationship that had these aspects and how did the 2 people react to each other. Lots of questions from me, sorry, but i am really into the venus pluto thing lately.
Thanks

I had exactly those aspects, sharn_1977. Since it's a double whammy, both people feel it.
There was a great feeling of being pulled under, and it became a little obsessive. I always wondered when I'd see her next.
Anyway, it can become mad love. Very intense and transformative if the two of you get involved.
How do you feel about it?

Bucketrider let me get this straight..so if Person A has Venus square Pluto in his natal, and his Pluto conjunct Person's B's Venus (while Person B has Pluto conjunct ASC and Venus)..would both feel that aspect played out? Or just the Pluto person (Person A)?

I have Venus square Pluto with my boyfriend, exact. I am the Pluto person (his Mars is also opposite my Pluto).

I will say that I've always found him really hot, and feeling wasn't always mutual (I liked him in High School and since then I've grown up quite a lot). Since we've come together, though, he always wants to "ravish" me. He says he's never felt this way with any of his other girlfriends. They're older than me, so their Plutos don't make perfect squares with his Venus like mine.
