Are there astrological explanations to whether or not a person is status conscious? Would you be with someone who is status conscious? IP: Logged |

It could shown in a variety of ways, reflecting the variety of psychological reasons people could have to be status conscious. Friend of mine has Moon in 2nd house, part of a T-Square with the Sun and Neptune. Terribly insecure person, in her words with a "fragile ego". Really needs to feel safe and secure financially. Sadly this can tip over into getting envious and bitter when things don't work out. Venus in Capricorn could be quite status-orientated, or Venus in the 10th house. But that could of course express itself in a positive way, striving for excellence and to get nice things by working hard. Status consciousness doesn't have to be bad. IP: Logged |

I have a 10th house Venus, I would say that I am status conscious. I'm not a snob, though. A Piscean Venus loves everyone, especially the under dog.IP: Logged |

True, nothing wrong with some consciousness of anything, be it status, moral, economic... I don't know, I just wonder if being with a status conscious person, will I get dumped once someone else more "important" or "wealthy" comes along.

Well I would say the sign capricorn, is a social climber and status conscious for sure. So I would think it follows to say an emphasis on the 10th house.IP: Logged |

It depends on what you mean by "status conscious." There are people who are extra likely to be very very aware of status heirarchies, and will always know who has the power in any given situation, but that's different than being snotty about, say, what kind of car someone drives.IP: Logged |
