Yay! Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels like that!
It does have an odd Twilight Zone feel to it, right?
It's not very stimulating for my writing (not much of a 'scene' out here), that's for sure, and I just checked....its Neptune is in my 3rd! And it's driving me nuts, kinda has a weird draining effect on my writing schedule. And then its Saturn is RIGHT on my Moon...ick. Do I really need to experience that simultaneously while having a Saturn transit conjunct my Sun?
I just saw that the city I'm in has it's Black Moon Lilith in my 5th and exactly conjunct my Sun...I daresay this is quite telling! I border on obsessive about my hatred toward it in a way no other place has moved me, it's pretty strange LOL
And its Neptune squares my moon...I always feel so weird and blurry here, like I've been drugged against my will and dragged into some strange world

I would also look into ther numerology of one's name or birth number and the city name.
Life in Chennai for me got better once it was renamed Chennai[25] and vibed with my birthdate of 25. Previously it was
named Madras[15], life was quite tough in the Madras days.

Cheiro also gives more importance to numerology for cities.

However, the idea of a city-natal synastry is fantastic!

FIST - when you go to astro.com enter the extended charts section and click on "special charts" there is a whole slew of "astromaps". you have to have your natal at least on the site for it to work for you, check em out. the lines run through various places on the globe and their planets/positions are in the margins...so the chiron line runs through one place, venus another, etc. i just interpret them as if those places offer a kind of permanent transit situation for thos placements...

Spain was the only place I've ever felt like myself and my Jupiter ASc. line along with Sun IC line go through it. All good aspects throughout Europe there's a reason I feel at home there! Jeeze, where I live Neptune squares my MC along with living right on my Mars DC.

didn't notice this thread till just now, i'm going to do this RIGHT AWAY. i've had problems with my birth place since pretty much when i was born (at least since when i was little). there were fundamental problems... since then i've moved continents to countries to cities and trying to figure out where the best place can be. THANKS!

...i can't find any info on the cities i want to look up. i guess it's clear with most american cities when they were founded, but not with some cities that existed since 4000 BC...

Probably the coolest topic ever. Interestingly, the town where I live is a sign I don't get along with in real life.

Where I live now: All orbs 5 degrees and under.

Town Sun square My sun.

Town venus conjunct my pluto.

Town venus square my moon.

Town TN & SN square my venus

Town mars conjunct my moon and venus

Town mars quincunx my AC.

Town neptune conjunct my TN opp SN

Town neptune square AC and DC

Town saturn in my 4th house and opposite my sun

Town venus IS trine my saturn

Town uranus and chiron trine my venus and also moon.

The last two are the only good aspects -- if you could call saturn and chiron/uranus aspects "good."

Yes, I do live in astro hell.

Briefly for now, because I don't have a lot of time right now.

Town Sun conjunct sun.

Town venus conjunct MC and sun

Town neptune conjunct MC (I'm not crazy about this one, but it's better than my current town's neppy conjunct my TN).

Town mercury conjunct my MC

Town moon in my 4th house

Town Jupiter in my 12th house

but, town pluto is in 12th too.

Town uranus conjunct my TN

Town mars conjunct my mercury.

I think it's better than where I am now...?

yes florida sucked for me too..eek.
my county s sun falls in my 7th
so does venus-1 degree away from my 8th
pluto s in my 10th
moon and saturn in 5th.

here i met the man i loved the most in my entire life.
curiously i bought a house here but no city planets in my 4th
