Pluto has been in my 12th for as long as I can remember. When will it move into my first house?

I know the house transits can take YEARS. Pluto had been in my 11th for almost a decade before it crossed into the 12th (its there now).

Although you have your Cap Asc at 9 degrees. Mine's at 21 degrees. I'd estimate, maybe in about 4-5 years it'll leave your 12th? I could be wrong. *shrugs* Atleast its leaving your 12th before it leaves mine. *sobs*

Dulce Luna,

*Hugs*

I really feel sorry for you because the 12th house pluto transit really sucks! It does get better in the sense that it doesn't hurt as much later on, though I still feel completely isolated.

Yeah, they weren't kidding when they said this really brings up the garbage from the dustbin. I have planets in this house too so its not like I could just *not* notice the transit.

I'm really curious about Pluto hitting your neptune though since I'm not due for that transit yet but know someone who did go through this....it was a complete 180 in spiritual belief systems for this person. Although there were are many circumstances in this person's life where its like really, I don't blame him.

well you can look in your ephemeris for the transition over the asc...as to pluto on neptune please don't think this will happen to you but a recent example...

my daughter has neptune at 29 sag - during pluto's transit (over and over and) over this point she hooked up with a man who she believed to be her one true soulmate...long story short, they were both broke and got involved in an escort ciruit, not ho-ing but setting up and ripping off johns! which brought them to the brink of jail and violence on more than one occasion...then on the eve of his birthday in a completely "random" incident, he was shot point blank in the chest by a stranger (no connection to the sleazy "business" they were engaged in!) and killed. he made it from the point of shooting back to her car in time to die in her arms.

she has recovered from this now. it enabled her a) to get back on track in the "straight" world b) to experience a couple of years of one on one contact with someone who is on the other side (she just cut the cord very recently and let him go) c)taught her to stand on her own two feet instead of leaning on a man and d) gave her a sense of purpose (because she was RIGHT there but not hit) in going on...

her neptune is on the cusp of her 5th house! and having processed this horrific sequence of events she is now in a relationship with a guy who just might be good for her...for the first time in her life!! as her "man-thing" (she has moon in 12 squaring pluto/saturn AND venus - t sq) was the toughest part of her chart, this was "all good" when seen from a higher perspective.

it was also hell to go through!!

not saying you will have quite such an intense time...my daughter has a double grand trine in fire (7 planets AND asc involved!) so everything is, aptly trial-by-fire with her and the gunfire is symbolic i am sure...

Katatonic,

I'm glad that your daughter is now happy, safe and doing well! Pluto conjunct neptune is definitely a tough transit and I can't wait until it ends.

So far this pluto-neptune transit has made me more spiritual, but at the same time, I am always angry these days. I feel like I'm treading water and going nowhere. I feel completely alone and like I can't even trust anyone, including my own family.

Astra, how do think Pluto in the 12th has effected you? I have this in my natal chart and I'm still uncertain as to what it implies, oh and pluto has been transiting my first house for the past decade more or less, If I use whole sign house system its in my 2nd house now, I'm not sure if it really is out of the 1st yet, I suppose I'm less serious than I used to be lol!

Pluto will enter your 1st house in March 2012. Then it will move back to your 12th. It'll leave your 12th house behind (permanently) in October/November 2013.

Katatonic, that scared me a little. Really glad your daughter is doing good now

I have to say I'm really concerned about when it comes to my neptune because it sits right on my MC square my mars almost exact.

In these past years I've made it through pluto conjunct Sun, Mercury, Uranus and right now Saturn. It's been a little hellish . But judging from your story worst has yet to come

Nightjar,

Thank you for your answer! How did you figure it out?

Missneptune,

Pluto in the 12th has been very painful to say the least. My whole life got turned upside down. Everything I attempt results in failure. None of my plans come even close to working out. People have also been doing everything possible to **** me off and when I explode, they try to act all innocent, which causes me to call them on their bulls**t.

I was also backstabbed by a close friend; we're now enemies. The 12th house is the house of hidden enemies, so I guess this makes sense. Sagittarius is on the cusp of my 12th house and I was betrayed by a Sag...makes me wonder if the sign on the cusp of the 12th house indicates the type of people you should be careful around.

I heard that having Pluto in the 12th natally can sometimes mean that you suppress your rage or that you have hidden power. Do you think this rings true for your life?

I've experienced something similar where people I thought were friends just suddenly turn on me. I'm not sure if there's a correlation between this transit and them having something in my 12th house because its usually generational planets and everyone around my age has neptune, saturn, or uranus in my 12th.

evander (and anyone else) - as i said, my daughter is natally VERY fiery. she was also going through a uranus square at the time, and yes, it was intense, but i'm sure your chart has different emphases in it...she was at a pretty crucial time in her life anyway. that was how the transit outpictured for her, but the general gist i got from watching it was that it will transform your relationship with the cosmos irrevocably and probably in a good way. resistance tends to make t hings worse.

now, as for lara, i guess who is husband and who is wife (my choice)would depend on which country we were going to live in! we could always take turns...!

Anyone gone through this past the ascendant? It's about to be conjunct mine exact and pass it finally so im curious about other peoples experiences. It has been near my ascendant for a while and so far I have lost a lot of weight and my appearance has changed drastically. I have also gone through a major transition in my life as I have finished my bachelors degree.
I hope this is encouraging for people experiencing this transit because there is a light at the end of that pluto in the 12th tunnel, I think so long as you have been dealing with your inner demons.

Spend lots of time alone. Try to understand all the weird repressed emotions and things you've had, or what kinds of things you've been "sweeping under the rug" over the years. Seek to understand the subconscious reasons for your own facades as well as others. You might be forced to deal with uncomfortable aspects of your unconscious self such as painful memories you tried to forget. Things might happen to you during this time that make you feel like you have no control or put you in a place where you feel very alone, try to connect with something higher than yourself, this is a great time for meditation, know that you are never really alone even when you feel like it. Connect with the spirit of worldwide transformation and crisis. Being able to feel as though I was connecting to a global conscious made me feel less alone.

Pluto is the only planet whose transit of a sign differs according to the sign it is in.

Pluto in the 12th is much easier to deal with than Pluto in the first. As it conjuncts the Ascendant it really does weed out unnecessary relationships.

While Pluto in the first is challenging at times, I have personally found Pluto in the 12th to be far more painful. That was the transit where I weeded out a lot of relationships. Pluto in the 1st is coinciding with my Saturn Return, so we'll how this goes. Lol.

Does anyone have anything to say about pluto transit 11th? All that I have read about pluto transit 12 I feel I went through during pluto 11 transit on TOP of all the pluto transit 11 stuff. It was awful. While I now feel more like keeping to myself, I feel more calm and hopeful that positive things will happen. When I was in pluto 11 transit every day was horrible and I felt like I was in a hamster wheel.

Hello fauxcoat, Because the first house is an angular house and more active than a mutable house. For me personally conjunct the Ascendant was the worst, a relationship ended that I did not want to end.
