So in keeping up with the spirit of GemGemGem post on "How hot is moon conjunct mars in synastry" post I thought I'd ask how yummy is moon conjunct venues in synastry? And the experiences you've had.

I have this with one of my closest friends, and I love being with her. Its just really easy to be around her, be really open and relaxed. We "get" each other.

GG20, I have my venus conjunct the moon of the same guy I have my Mars conjunct Moon with. But my Venus conjuncts his Moon by under 1 degree, so it's tighter than the mars conjunction which is just under 3 degrees.

What is my experience so far with this? I can't stop thinking about him, and it's driving me MAD! That's why I'm up at this ungodly hour surfing the net cause I can't fall asleep.

Are you the Venus or Moon person? I don't know about him, but I'm feeling it intensely, so I think Venus feels it more and is more vulnerable. I agree with WS, that it does feel very comfortable when you're with that person, and I just love being with him. Maybe a little too much.

i tried making an edit but it's not taking it.. but here's more.

i've found these snippets on the web as well, don't remember where or when..

When one party's Moon conjuncts the others Venus, this is an even stronger aspect than the Venus-Mars conjunction, because of the involvement of the Moon energies. The Moon basically represents our most primal and innermost needs/desires, what we need to feel emotionally safe, satisfied, secure. Hence, when Moon conjuncts Venus in synastry, there will be a mutual feeling of the other party fulfilling the 'image of the 'ideal' mate in their lives. This aspect will bless the relationship with deep mutual affection and devotion. In the first place, both parties have much in common so it's not likely that there will be much disagreement occurring between the two. Any small hurts will be erased and easily forgiven as this aspect promotes feelings of good-will and harmony in general.

Oh I think it's so lovely! I don't have this aspect conjunct with my partner but his venus and my moon are in the same sign so I would consider this to be influential. It just brings ease, affection, familiarity. Both have feminine characteristics so it encourages receptivity to each other and a caring, nurturing aspect. He as the Moon wants to nurture your Venus, that is your ability to show affection to express your sexuality, to socialise to harmonize. He will instinctly nourish them. You will seduce his emotions endear yourself to his need to attach and bond.

Wow! Moon conjuncts Venus is one of the sexiest aspects to have in synastry! Both of you thrive on each other's energy. Have you ever got the feeling where you're both on top of the world? I guarantee you feel like that with him You both honor and value each other with so much devotion. Every moment is cherished and valued as though its a priceless jewel that can't ever be replaced. Its that feeling where its like seeing the endless ocean- it has so much beauty and mystery, and its so perfect- there is no words to describe it. There is definitely a strong emotion & sexual bond between the two of you. The moon person gives what the Venus person, desires. I guarantee other people feel and see the romantic, intense energy off the two of you and this aspect makes a couple very affectionate and caring for each other's feeling. Even if you two have your moments of disagreements-it gets quickly dissolved, because both of you are willingly to fix the problem as a power couple. AMAZING ANSWER! This is so true! I loved the imagery with your words in your answer. It gave me a better picture of understanding. I loved him the very first time I ever saw him and he felt the same thing.

and more since this wouldnt fit in the above post

One of my fav aspects in synastry is moon conj. venus...it's very comfortable, romantic, a sweet type of love.

Her Venus Sextiles His Moon She openly shows AFFECTION and a tolerance of your moods and can make you feel "at ease" - which encourages an affectionate response from you. You find pleasure in each others company and may share similar tastes in entertainment/art/culture. This is one of the BEST indications of a HAPPY MARRIAGE or any type of relationship! In marriage, a very loving bond may be formed. The spirit of consideration and co-operation you feel with each other goes a long way to overcome any disruptive factors. [this was from a paid report and i think it applies to conj as well, prob even more to the conj than the sextile]

Moon in good aspect to Venus targets the romantic attraction between the couple.

Woodward's Venus in Pisces is conjunct her husband's Moon, a true-love tie.

Moon cj Venus - deep care and understanding bond.huge sign of forgiveness and generosity towards one another

I've had it, it's wonderful!
Very sweet...I've had it along with Mars conjunct Moon with someone.
It's great, but it's not an aspect by itself that can hold a relationship...just adds some very yummy icing
I don't think Venus and the Moon can go badly even with opposition...not really.
It is a very forgiving aspect, I've noticed.

Oh I TOTALLY know what you're talking about. The Virgo I posted about drives me crazy. He is literally ALL I think about!! And we too have our Moon and Venus cojunction at less than one degree (and I'm the Venus btw). And we both have the same Moon and Mars (not aspected though).

As far as me being the Venus its hard, although I know typically when the Moon is involved, the Moon tends to feel things more acutely. According to the descriptions read there is supposed to be a lot of feelings from the Moon person but there seems to be no feelings from him. Its hard, and I don't know if the reason he doesn't show feelings or feel anything is because the conjunction is in Taurus, and that sign is not known for emotionally baring its soul.

I've had this is synastry before and it is indeed a beautiful aspect, one of my favoriites. Her Moon was conjunct my Venus 0* in Cancer! Man, I still think about her often. It was a wonderful time when we were together (we were together a LOT). I also find that this aspect gives tremendous forgiveness of the other persons screwups, significantly more so than if you didn't have this aspect.

But all in all my favorite synastry aspects are Merc trine Merc, Venus conjunct Moon, Sun trine Sun, and Moon in good aspect to Neptune. But Merc trine Merc is my favorite. The conversation is just great.

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

i dont think it's a "yummy" aspect but definitely a pleasant and beneficial one. in my experience w/ this aspect i've usually been the Venus person. but either way, it creates a sense of ease and comfort around each other.

It tastes "yummy", hmmm. I don't think you can taste a synastry aspect, lol! It a yin and yin aspect so if its with the opposite sex, you may feel comfortable with them. But it could indicate smothering love.
