Topic: Is it possible to change your astrological personality?

I have been wondering for a long time about how much a person can change their personality or the way they react in certain situations, given their astrological make up and tendencies.For me specifically, I am a Scorpio sun with an Aquarius moon. My ASC is also Scorpio. I am such a Scorpio and SUCH an Aquarius moon that its not funny. But the thing is, I'm tired of being so detached from people, not knowing how to really connect to them, which I think comes from my Aqua moon. I feel like sometimes this hinders me giving advice to others or even helping them, b/c I'm so detached that they may either think that I don't care or because I can't form a connection with them, they don't take what I say to heart. I want to be able to connect to people though, and I just don't know how really. Is it possible to change this at all? Or is it like trying to teach an eagle to swim? Thanks! In my view, accepting the energies and using them as well as you can is the best route. Aqua Moon people are great for calming others down, at least the ones I know. They have a calm aura, and are able to put things into perspective. That's making the ability to emotionally detach work to positive effect. You can care, but not get emotionally immersed in the situation. That is still caring. No reason why Aqua Moons can't be as proficient as anyone else in that great skill for connecting with other people ~ the ability to listen. You just have to try harder. My chart would not suggest that I'm very reserved and quiet (except maybe my Scorp ASC) but I have so much Sag influence one would think otherwise...well, I was very reserved and quiet until I just got used to dealing with people. Now I'm the opposite.My dad is an Aqua moon and ASC and he knows how to connect to people when he really wants to. He usually does this thru his sense of humor. IP: Logged |

Transits are in way a test of who you are as an individual, you can avoid negative transits or embrace them. They also adjust your personality slightly. IP: Logged |

Well I think we can only transform to different levels of our sign. The good news is the we have many planets in different signs, so you can lean more on one planet than another.But what is this you say about not connecting with others? With scorpio rising you have taurus on the 7th, I would think you collect people, then stubbornly hold on. (of course you moon some what interferes with this, but it doesn't have to)

I am with the view that everyone's destined to change for better, to learn to correct their mistakes in order to elevate. Without astrology, one's will face the same dilemma until they finally realize what need to be work on. With astrology, one should get there quicker. IP: Logged |
