Hey, its a stupid question but one that i hope can get answered nonetheless.

Now, i wanna do a synastry chart but the only detail i dont have is the other person's time of birth.

What im asking is that if you can still do a synastry chart without one person's exact birth time, if you just made it 12pm? If not, then how do we make a synastry chart with just the date and place of birth, one person's birth time and the other's missing?
Is it possible to still see the interactions and aspects and planets in houses without 1 person's birth time?

The most common thing to do is to use 12pm as their birth time. However, if you know the person well enough to guess their Ascendant, then you could try playing with the birth times until you get the Ascendant you think they are. I

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

yes you can, but it comes at a cost;

fast moving planets, especially the moon, can move a few degrees, if the person's chart has alot of possible trines/squares/ or close aspects, then you can't tell for sure if these fast moving planets are making some of the aspects in the chart.

the same goes for synastry, any aspects his/her fast moving planets (such as the moon) make in your chart, are going to be unreliable.

its the same chance as not knowing what sign there moon is in.

i did synastry chart with some one with a diff birth time, everytime i changed it, it would vary between an aspect between her moon and my mercury.

Yeah the Moon moves about 12 degrees in 24 hours, that's why people use the 12pm time most of the time. So the moon can be waaaaay out of aspect within an entire 24 hours to work with. So let's say someone born at 12:01am but you didn't know and you put 12:00pm. The moon will be ahead of it's true position by 6 degrees. However, if your birthtime is near 12pm, then there moon can't be no more than 6 degrees away from yours going forward or backward on the clock.

Like my birth time is at 11:24am. If I didn't know Alicia Keys birth time, I'd go with 12pm. If I put her birth time at 11:59pm or 12:01am, then her moon degree wouldn't be anymore off than 6 degrees. If you were born around 12:01am or 11:59pm, then the other person's moon could be almost 12 degrees away from yours. At that distance, you have to decide which aspects are now in or out of orb.

To be a little more redundant and explain further, I was born at 11:24am and have my Moon at 14* Libra. Let's say Alicia Keys also had a Libra moon but I didn't know what time she was born so I go with 12pm. Boom! I see that her moon is also at 14* Libra with a 12pm birth time. Now I know her moon could be anywhere between 8* and 20* Libra. But my moon at 14* is on the midpoint of those degrees so her moon could be no more than 6 degrees away from mine. I would count the 6* conjunction and maybe trine at that distance.

The Vertex moves the fastest as it changes signs every hour. The Asc and other angles move at the same pace as the Asc.

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

I think it was Good Girl that said that she made their ASC the exact same degree as their Sun for times she didn't know and used solar houses for the interpretation. I started doing that too.

But yeah, you can do a synastry chart, you'd just have to ignore the houses, and keep in mind that the Moon might not make the same aspects you'd think it would.

another technique is to put both charts in a "natural" 00 aries ascending chart. if you put the unknowns birthtime at noon then the moon is within 6 degs of correct and you would view the houses as in relation to the zodiac rather than each other. most of the aspects will remain the same and the houses will show how these two relate to their environment...

Well, i was wanting to have a look at the houses and what planets fall in them so that answers my question, lol.
So, is there any way to find out someone's asc.?

umm, it can help to narrow down the moon sign since it's pretty easy to spot if you have 2 to choose from. also, if you mark the time for noon and the moon will still be in the same sign if you add or subtract 10 degrees, then that would be your moon sign for that person for that day (in most instances). like a 15 deg leo moon at chart set for 12 noon, will be a leo moon since minus 10 is 5 and adding 10 is 25 - still leo.

Amicka, I was wrong too. The moon moves 13.17 degrees in 24 hours. The half point would be 6.585 degrees.

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!
