Oh.....I want to point out something. Even though my maternal grandfather was an alcoholic, he was a functioning one in that he always went to work. A lot of alcoholics are actually like that. He was no wino-type. He was strong in other ways, and he didn't take crap from people. He committed suicide because he was very sick with Hepatitis and barely had a liver, and he was taking care of his mother in law and sister in law while my stepgrandmother was out of town, working. There is a lot of stuff involved.

there are so many things that factor....other things in the chart

of course, the celestial positions are in synchronicity with the way we are...they don't cause who we are.

any ways....I don't like words like tortured type........there was a lot more involved.
That's why I even said that's all I will write because I don't want to write a book.

LMAO

After the short-sighted comment about Pisces Moon types, I have no pity about the BIRDBRAIN response.

Chryseis,We both posted the sun/moon combo at the same time. Great minds...

Your's is better, by the way. Thank you!

It seems he has the potential to be very sensitive and romantic, if he's true to these desriptions. I wonder if he is... I'm dying to know now!

Glaucus,

That's really sad about your grandfather. I'm sorry.

LMAO

Well, I did say I never knew anyone with this moon sign. And every book you read says that pisces has a tendency to be spiritual, emotional, preyed upon, and not concerned with career. This guy is nothing like that - he's so conservative That's why I am asking people for their personal stories. Why is that so hard for some people to grasp?

My soulsmate is a Capricorn Sun and Pisces Moon.
He has the most beautiful baby blue eyes.
Seriously, they are huge and deep set and slightly grey at the center that make them appear starry. People will stop him in public to tell him that he has the most beautiful eyes.
He has a very dream quality about him. He is either quiet and comtemplative. Or super chatty, and engaging there doesnt seem to be an in between. He can be moody. But seems to be very aware when he is and keeps to himself during those moments often apologizing for his feelings.
He is very spiritual, in his own way. He is not interested in anything metaphysical or occult studies as far as I know. But he is an avid yogi. He loves the beach, and can spend hours sitting on it staring out without saying a word. Or just reading a book. When he is near the water he says that he feels very peaceful, and rejuvenated.
Things could have changed though who knows.
He seems to absorb the mood of his surroundings. And is very intuitive and empathetic. His compassion is all encompassing. And life thus far has been pretty hard for him. One thing after another type deal. He deals with it though. With a quiet strength that is very inspiring and oozes confidence.
He has had a rough time with drugs and alcohol and the like but went through that pretty early on in life from late teens to early twenties. Now at late twenties he drinks only socially, and very little when he does that and avoids drug use, but he does love his pot. lol
He is extremely ambitious and works hard.
All in all he is a very sensitive soul. And his eyes are like windows that tell the story of a million lifetimes.

Oneruledbymars,

He sounds really great. This guy is really great too. Maybe the pisces moon makes people special, if they can keep themselves grounded.

Your guy's eyes sound nice. I think Paul Newman was a pisces moon, and he had amazing eyes. RIP

Lady Neptune I also have Pisces moon! I'm not sure about what others said about the dreamy eyes, I don't have dreamy eyes, I think if the person already has water in their chart then the Pisces moon comes out more. I think this moon works well with men because they tend to be more intuitive, receptive, and less smothering than a Cancer moon. However I get along with Cancer moons really well, I've never met a Scorpio moon or I don't think I have, but I'd like to.

Lady Neptune what is your moon sign and sorry about the bad vibes from someone else on this post!

And your right Lady Neptune. I think it does add a special something to them.
I never thought about it but he does have eyes like Paul Newmans, almost exactly. Wow. I didnt know that he had a Pisces Moon too.

You may have dreamy eyes and not know it.

Well, he has scorpio neptune and mercury, so he has some other water. I guess he's a good mix, now that i think about it. He is balanced in element, and that comes through in his persona. He does seem like earth, but that is probably because of the nature of our relationship, it being more professional. He probably shows hie emotional side in intimate relationships. He is nice, though.

My moon is sagittarius. It's square his moon, but we get along pretty well and have a good deal in common.

It's okay about that person. Maybe they're going through a tough pluto transit. Like pluto conjunct IC, or saturn square moon.

I guess we do...My Mum and other siblings have loads of Air & Fire....they all talk too muck LOL

I have a lot of fire. I used to talk a lot, but I don't think I am as much as a chatterbox as I used to be. I can be really quiet and I am pretty introverted, but social at the same time, which is a weird combo.

quote:
Im not a Netune fan at all,I have a Pisces Moon in the 3rd conj IC & Neptune is close to the ascendant. It make makes things/people psychically noisy.

Oh, that stinks. I think I have the same problem, because I have neptune in the 7th, and I pick up on other people's psychic garbage a lot.

quote:
I used to have a victim mentality, but I grew out of it.....I just prefer the crispness, strength and clarity of Capricorn & Aquarius.

I do have dreamy eyes & retain lots of water...also reclusive

It's good you outgrew that. I have dreamy blue eyes, too, but am not pisces.

I have a aquarius sun and capricorn mercury, so you'd love to be me,

I would actually love to have a pisces or cancer moon.

I think it does too.

See, in this thread we discovered that some pisces moon people have eyes like Paul Newman. But seriously, he must have the most amazing eyes if he has eyes like Paul Newman, my God! I love Paul Newman.

Did he chase after you because you seemed indifferent?

I definately don't think I come off that way with him. lol..I'm very interested in what he has to say. We have really good conversations.

Your guy liked masculine things? Mine doesn't seem to. He isn't into sports and things like that. He's very into business though, and that could be considered masculine, I guess.

What's your guy's sun sign?

He was/is a Scorpio and well, at first he expected me to pull out all the stops and 'come to him'. I blame that on the fact that his venus was opposite my mars so I was naturally the one expected to do the chasing even though I'm the girl and that wasn't really my thing (too shy). In the end, he ended up going after me since I was just too stubborn to do it myself...hahaha. I don't regret the relationship but if a man's venus makes any hard aspect to my mars, forget about it. In the beginning atleast, they always expect me to do the chasing and its annoying since I don't like to be the chaser.

And yeah, he liked his sports and his video games *rolls eyes*. And he was very good at supporting himself, he never was truly dependent on other people even though it seemed that way (socially speaking). He was more relationship orientated than I was/am though.

i like earth sign moons, but not for me. especially since i have enough earth in my chart.

i like piscean moons, i can't explain why, i think they are a nice touch, and i feel its 'style' is well suited for the moon. scorpio for the same reason, but its style - plutonian i just like. and i lack some water in my chart. nothing of the cancer traits really appeal to me for the moon sign, the moodyness trait i wouldn't want.

i just like gemini's, its a bubbley position for the moon, something i lack, talkative and open, more sociable. sagittarius because its a toned down fire sign, and it doesn't need attention from people for fuel. and since im a leo sun, i just wouldn't want another leo planet.

im an aries moon, im not particularly a fan of this placement because it just feels like arien power is better suited else where in the planets.

: )

interesting thing is, my moon is in a pisces house cusp, hopefully i think that gives me a little piscean touch on my moon. its int he 9th house aswell, maybe that explains why i would prefer a saggittarius moon.

my 11th and 5th houses im still unsure of, they are either 5th scorpio/saggittarius, and 11th gemini/taurus.

the house of my 7th ruler is the 11th (my dsc is aqua), if my 11th is in gemini, maybe that explains my liking for gemini moons and geminis. 5th house being in sag could explain that too.

Dulce,

Now that you mention it, I recall him saying he had to be pushed into going out with his wife, like - the person said, "You two are going out!" But that story was told so long ago, so I don't know if I'm remembering it right.

I'm not one to pursue people initially either. I'll flirt, but I don't ask them out. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, i just don't do it.

Libra,

I guess you're right, cancer moon probably can be moody, but the moon is at home in that sign, so...

I love taurus moon. I have it by progression and it's been nice. I move onto gemini moon next, and pretty soon. That may be ok. I had aries moon, by progression, and I didn't like it. I was so aggressive and hot tempered, but I think that's because it was in my natal 12th house and because I already have so much fire in my natal. It was too much, but I got a lot done. Boy, did I have drive!

I really like earth moon's. I'm not too familiar with water moons. I'm sure they have their good and bad points like everything else.

One ruled by mars.

I bet!

You want to call him now, don't you? It IS venus Rx and an eclipse, so just do it.

Yes NeptuneLady, I know a Gem with a Pisces moon and i was completely shocked. I wouldn't have thought he had a single planet in pisces..
looks like he was born in a suit too and takes to discipline and routine like a fish to water ! scorp asc though.
but neptune's like that..will escape in different ways if it can't in the conventional sense

Interesting. And you're totally right. i forgot we were talking about neptune here. Duh!

The ruler of his moon is in scorpio, so maybe that's part of it, too. Scorps can be really into business and conservative.

i also know a cap/pisces moon. who is also either very taciturn (cap) or very open, without a lot in between. most people never see the "open" side. and he has amazing blue eyes too, though i never would have pegged them for pisces eyes, more in keeping with the aqua parts of his makeup.

VERY psychic, charming, soft spoken, man of few words in public especially, often quite spacey but not out of it! also caring, loyal, musical, and perseverant.

sounds just like a mix of cap/aqua/pisces, doesnt it?!!

Ok, darlin's. I'm a Pisces moon, and I'll say that there's a lot of negative information out there about us.

I'm not and never have been addicted to drugs or alcohol, and I don't use them as an escape. I do, however, need some escape. If I don't schedule it into my life, I'll actually mentally *check out* and stare at a wall until someone gets my attention again. I usually get into fiction series or TV series (usually of a fantasy nature), and that soothes my little pisces moon.

As far as lovers, I think my Aries Venus and Taurus sun have too strong a pull for the moon to come out much, but I'll put it this way: I come on VERY strong, very in-your-face-this-is-what-I-want, and then, after a while, I roll into a pisces sort of thing: fragile, yearning, peace-keeping, love embodied. That sort of thing. I'm very...venusy.

I don't like neptune. Never connected with it, never understood it, don't feel the transits.

I can't say I'm 'psychic'. I think that's a really gray area, and it's not something you can say you are or not unless you can fully control it (personal opinion). So I say I'm 'a little psychic'. Little things happen every day that I mention off-hand without thinking. I dream about things that come to pass. I can do fairly accurate tarot readings. I have natural insight into people's character and the things they hide from themselves (always REALLY obvious to me, but everyone else goes all O.O about it all the time). Could be all bullcrap, since a lot of people who think they're psychic are fooling themselves. Doesn't really matter. When I dream about lotto numbers, though, I am SO there!

LadyN's question made sense to me.

Moon in Pisces? Got a business-like friend with this myself, greenish brown eyes which I wouldn't describe as dreamy.

Business and Pisces isn't that much of a remove ~ P.R, Marketing, Sales, being able to tap into the feelings and undercurrents of the public mood.
