Pluto is applying to a conj to my capricorn moon, it's still 6 deg off yet, but I'm starting to feel it. I'm very sensitive to the outer planets, especially pluto. The transits usually effect me profoundly and with permanent tranformational changes in my life and self. They're also very painful. lol. Any experiences with t. pluto in hard aspect to your moon??

Pluto isn't all doom & gloom, I'm quite fond of the big fellah

When Pluto squared my Moon, the relationship dynamic with my Mom changed.

I could relate to her as a fellow woman, instead of just a mother....I guess I grew up from her perspective.

hmmmmmmmmmm........I wonder if you have any other things going on with Pluto like with midpoints....even transiting Pluto midpoints. There is also Nessus which has Saturn-Pluto type of energy.

I also wonder about other kuiper belt objects that could be aspecting your chart.

I am suspecting that people that feel Pluto's transits beyond 3 degrees might actually be experiencing transits from other kuiper belt objects or Pluto midpoint transits. There are lot of kuiper belt objects out there, and Pluto is one of just many. Also...there are some big kuiper belt objects that could be significant astrologically too. Orcus is a plutino, and is named after Roman God of Death. Ixion is a plutino named after the father of the centaurs. Both are big kuiper belt object plutinos, and their orbital periods are almost the same as Pluto. They orbit like Pluto in that they 2:3 resonance with Neptune. for every time Neptune orbits 3 times around the Sun,Pluto and the plutinos orbit twice around the Sun.

I have Pluto-Moon transit going on right now myself, but it's transiting Pluto in my 4th sextiling my Moon in 6th with 30 minutes of arc, squaring my Moon/Sedna midpoint (I have Moon sextile Sedna and conjunct my Moon/Quaoar midpoint(I have Moon trine Quaoar)....actually transiting Pluto is in a 6th harmonic isosceles trapezoid with my wedge of Moon,Quaoar, and Sedna. I am seeing a shamanic healer for healing on myself as working on healing emotional issues like insecurity and trying to get over my exgirlfriend,Meghann. It also fits with my profound health changes like I don't eat sweets/junkfood any more, and I am lifting weights daily now.

would it be ok if I check out your chart?

I find that I become more introspective and very self aware with the square to my moon, it's like a fog has been lifted.

Absolutely 10-15-80 7:50 pm in freeport, Tx
My moon is in 8th equal house system, 9th other systems. The pluto transit is triggering my natal moon saturn square, so t pluto is squareing my n saturn right now 0 deg

I hear Pluto transting in aspect to the moon makes women pretty fertile.
I didn't like having that transit...it's brought up a lot of issues for me. I lost my grandmother and it was extremely painful.
I've found a distinct trend dealing with female relationships, especially the mother or female relatives with t Pluto and the moon. It changes the relationships to them a great deal I think.

It's going to square my moon at some point....my moon's at 18 degrees, so I guess it won't be for a while.

I wonder if I'll lose my grandmother in this transit. I've heard that a lot before. She is 85 and has been sick lately. She is also wealthy and my moon pluto transit is going on in the 8th house of death and inheritance. Hmmmm.

Hmm, I hear Pluto will move back into Sagittarius in June and go direct again into Capricorn in November.
I'm just wondering how slowly it moves...like how long does it take to move, how long for every degree, etc.

scrappy dog,

Your Moon semisquare Uranus with 38 minutes of arc which is mainly about emotions, feelings, nurturing, and women that involve changes, unpredictability, independence

Semisquares are no joke. It's an 8th harmonic aspect. Semisquare is 45 degree angle, and so half of a square. When semisquares are in close orb, they can be strong as squares that have a wide or moderate orb. Cosmobiologists and Uranian astrologers consider the 8th harmonic aspects, semisquares and sesquiquadrates(135 degree) as major aspects instead of trines, sextiles. They are used with midpoints.

so your Moon semisquare Uranus is similar to Moon square Uranus.

Transiting Neptune is semisquare your Moon with 30 minutes of arc applying
so it's similar as having Neptune square the Moon

Transiting Neptune is square your Uranus with 8 minutes of arc separating

Therefore, transiting Neptune is in an 8th harmonic triangle transit with your Moon semisquare Uranus

cosmobiologists, uranian astrologers would write it out as TR Neptune = Natal Moon = Uranus
the transit can indicate sudden emotional changes connected to increased emotional, nervous sensitivity. 8th harmonic triangles can feel stressful emotionally when it involves the Moon.

The good thing is that the transit could be good for spiritual awakening, insights.

here is something from Ruth Brummond's Rulebook. It's a list of possible things that with the symbolisms of Moon-Uranus-Neptune. Please note that not all nor most will apply. They are just possibilities.

MO.UR.NE.
+ feels stimuli from the unconscious. intuitive. highly perceptive. sensitive. future-oriented. relaxing. resourceful. inventive. interested in the occult. mediumistic.
Relaxation of emotional tension. Impulses of an intuitive woman. Inspiration. Hour of relaxation of tension. Sudden suspense among the public. Dealings with obscure technology.
- reacts unconsciously. unpredictable. contrary. readily exhausted. indecisive. touchy.
Sudden uncertainty. Tensions in relation to a weak woman. Upset over deceit. Unexpected ambiguity. Surprising sensitivity. Pointless excitement or expectation. Stimulation or upset during sleep.

Transiting Pluto is square your Saturn, and your Moon is in Capricorn. Therefore, transiting Pluto is squaring your Moon's dispositor too. That could factor into relating with transiting Pluto conjunct your Moon.

I also checked to see if your Moon aspects a Pluto midpoint that could be activated by transiting Neptune semisquare to your Moon.

Your Moon squares your Jupiter/Pluto midpoint with 11 minutes of arc,and Uranus semisquares Jupiter/Pluto midpoint with 50 minutes of arc.

Moon square Jupiter/Pluto midpoint has to do with emotional nature involve expansive intensity or intense expansion, but also transformation, regeneration.

Here are interpretations from Ruth Brummond's Rulebook

MO.JU.PL.
+ contented. happy. optimistic.
positive in outlook. fair. hopeful. trusting.
experienced at handling money. skilled at developing. capable of transforming. adapts.
forthright. enterprising. personable. enthusiastic. change-prone.
Increasing luck or income of or due to a woman. Beneficial change. Successful transition or readjustment. Benefits due to changes of the wife. Beneficial passage of hours. Financial developments among the public. Financial exchange. Changes due to public laws. The enrichment of a nation.
- emotionally or psychologically vacillating. [financially exploitive when unevolved.]
overly zealous.
Fluctuating income. Increasing emotional vacillation.

so transiting Neptune is in 8th harmonic transit to your Moon = Uranus = Jupiter/Pluto
This could be about emotional changes in general connected to increased sensitivity. It could be a spiritual transit, but you have to make sure that you avoid escapism, victimization, deception, confusion which is common with hard Neptune transits.

The octile family of aspects include semi-squares and sesqui-quadrartes. A semi- square is measured from plus or minus forty-five degrees. A sesqui-quadrate is measured from plus or minus one hundred and thirty five degrees. The semi-square and sesqui-quadrate represent one eighth and five eighths of a circle respectively. Two eights is a quarter or square. Four eights is an opposition. These aspects are related. To some extent, key words for the opposition and more so the square can also be applied to the semi-square and the sesqui-quadrate. These aspects can be harsh and react sharply and abruptly. They can indicate a need to act for the future. Resistance is likely. There's a need to keep cool, act cautiously and make the best of things. It's time to resolve rather than ignore problems. Octiles resonate with Pluto, Fixed, Water and Scorpio energy. http://www.adze.com/Classroom/aspects.html

Thanks Glaucus! I always considered the semi-squares as major aspects when their close too. I feel my moon semi square uranus more than I feel my moon square saturn. That close semi-square has been very outwardly ACTIVE in my life. I've led a very drifter, gypsy type of life. I have itchy feet and can never seem to put down roots. My homes are always chaotic wityh sudden shocking chatastrophys, I can never stay in one place. I am also not at all maternal. What I don't understand is why these current transits have shaken up my life so much. My social life is so active it's crazy and I'm dating several different men(I have never done this before). I'm usually way too emotionally invovlved with someone, strangely enough my usual intense needyness has drastically cooled off. I've become more liberated as of late.

That seems like a good thing. I guess it really depends on the person.

Heck...as a male,I wouldn't mind dating 3 women....especially get my exgirlfriend out of my system.

The 8th harmonic transits aren't necessarily challenging transits. Cosmobiologists and Uranian astrologers seem the hard aspects as event-oriented aspects. I don't see them as do with challenges, stress like mainstream astrologers.

there is nothing wrong with a lot of excitement as long as you can handle it.

the Neptune transit could maybe involve possible emotional confusion.....like not sure of which guy you like the most out of the 3 guys that you're dating.
