A guy wants to date me and we don't have that many good inter aspects, but his venus does conj my asc and chiron by 1 degree. Anyone have any experiences or interpretations?

everything i read on venus conj. ASC or in another's 1st house says that the ASC/1st house person finds the venus person very attractive, seductive, alluring, etc.

Maybe it's one of those placements that work both ways - venus shows what we find beautiful, so if s.o.'s ascendant conjuncts your venus you are bound to like what you see (their outer shell). However as the first house is such a personal hous, you might also be more responsive to the other persons style etc (venus). My ascendnat is cancer, the men I know whose venus in cancer conjunct my ascendant I can sense find me attractive/like me. However, I definitely havent found any of them particularly attractive (not at all like when someone's venus falls in my 7th house). It's more that I as the ascendant person have always felt more beautiful/appreciated in their presence. Also a feeling of being accepted for who i am and what I look like if that makes sense. Just a warm feeling but no attraction towards THEM.

I would think that the Venus-person would be attracted to the ASC-person, just as you described it.

I had a guy with venus conj my asc. I was crazy about him, but his mars was also conj that position.

I think it is one of the most pleasant aspects in synastry.

Venus person is attracted to the ASC person. ASC person is passive in this case and appreciates attention. I have a friend who has his Venus on my ASC and I can sense that he finds me physically appealing. I appreciate the sense but I don't find him physically attractive.

Yep I can confirm that in my experience and observations it is the venus person who sees and draws out the beauty in the ascendant person.

I watched friends of mine play out this dynamic- she had his venus on her ascendant- and she literally blossomed and became more beautiful, thanks to his loving and "beautifying" venus on her asc.

I'm just thinking of another example in my circle of friends where a guy's Venus is conjunct my friends ascendant. He is very good looking by any standards, but while she feels comfortable around him and can see HIS attraction towards her, she doesnt feel any attraction at all.

I dont want to hijack this thread, but just a quick question reg, your venus house overlays. I can open up a new thread if you prefer. When you have had venus in 7th house with someone has the attraction been mutual or was it solely on the 7th house person side. Men who have their venus in my 7th house I find very attractive but usually the attraction is mutual. But this may be because their venus in my 7th will also conjucnt my sun. I'm just asking because venus is what we love and I know one example where my venus falls in this persons 11th house and I just really instantly 'loved' this friends. And they seemed to like me as well at first sight. So I'm just wondering if s.o's venus falls in your 7th house. Wouldnt they love (venus) you as a partner (7th house)? What do you think? This goes along the same line as venus conjunct ascendnat. The planet person loves (venus) the physical form of the other (ascendant).

Any "nice" planet in the other's 7th will instinctively draw the house person to the planet person. Mr 23's Moon falls in my 7th and I was instinctively drawn to him for example. I guess the planet person seeks indirectly the house person's attention or at least tries to tap into that energy.

Venus does the loving.
Whatever she touches, she loves it.
If it is the Sun, she loves their personality as a whole package, if it is the ASC - she loves the way they look. "trophy" wives.
If it is the Mars - she loves their masculinity (for men) or their confidence and willpower ( for wonen), and so fort...

Question: if the woman's Venus touches her husband's Asc., how would that make her a "trophy" wife? Wouldn't she see him as "the catch"?

I have this in synastry with someone. His Venus conjunct my ASC.

I know he finds me attractive, he liked to tell me that all the time . But, unlike most of what I've read here, I was super attracted to him, too. I'd find myself staring at him and have to drag my eyes away only to find myself doing it again the next minute...Shameless even when he'd catch me because I knew he'd understand lol

I do have my Sun/Merc/Venus/Saturn all trine my ASC though, so anyone's planets that fall there trigger all sorts of things in my chart.

My Venus is in Aries

It's actually trine the Leo Venus/Merc/Sun/Jupiter stellium of the guy I was talking about. And we also have Ascendant conjunct Ascendant.. There's so much going on in that synastry that it's hard to pinpoint where one cause and effect ends and another begins.

I've often wondered about the significance of intercepted signs in synastry. I have Sag intercepted in my 5H.

My Venus is square my fiance's ASC.
He was absolutely smitten with me from literally the moment we met. He followed me around all night trying to win my attention and affection. It was rather sweet. I frustrate him, but he's quickly over any spats we do get into. Much more quickly than I am, anyway.

We have a few ASC contacts in synastry.My Mer-Venus conjunction square his ASC,my moon semi square his ASC and mars trine his asc. His sun and moon conjunct my ASC exact.His Jupiter trine ASC.His NN and chiron sq my ASC exact.His Eros sextile my ASC.
