What do you think of when someone has a natal Mars/Pluto conjunction in Scorpio in the 8th house? It is a tight aspect by 1 degree.

I think of them as powerfully driven, intense in intimacy and secretive. I also wonder that they might be manipulative with other's resources like taking advantage with no regrets.

Can this placement also make them incredibly psychic? Like seeing through people with laser beam vision?

Issues with anger? Experienced or seen violence in childhood? Anyone have this aspect or know someone with it?

I know someone with this aspect and he is extremely sexual, but people with these conjunctions also tend to attract violence into their lives.

Not all of them obviously, but I have read that these natives sometimes go through traumatic experiences until they learn to channel the aspect into something constructive, e.g. sports, medicine,etc...

Yeah the person I know has tremedous energy and took up the drums as a teen. I can def see that energy being channeled into drumming.

Interesting that you say they attract the violence into their lives instead of maybe having it placed on them like if they have seen their parents being abusive emotionally,verbally or physically to each other.

What about being obssesive with a person or object? Being able to have self-control so that know one knows about the obssesion except for themselves? I guess it goes back to being secretive.

I have mars conjunct pluto almost exact in virgo in my tenth house. I am very strong willed. While I have a good heart, I can be a bit calculating. I have a bad temper that I have learned to curb over the years. If I want something bad enough, I will get it. However, I will not do it in an underhanded way, Must be the sag.

I think this would cause the person to weild considerable power over others, and that could have a "psychic" element...Scorpios, Plutonian people, and 8th house people can sometimes "read" others energetically and have an instinctive sense of how to dominate and manipulate them.

The energy sent out by this aspect/placement might also attract the attention dominating, violent, or manipulative adults into the person's life before s/he is old enough to handle it.

My guess is that the challenge with this aspect/placement would be to use all its power and energy for deep transformation, rather than getting caught in traps of domination or manipulation. It seems like a great idea to drum or do something like that to let off steam!
