Topic: 11th house ruler - the sign you make friends with most?

is the the ruler of your 11th house, in a sign you make friends with the easiest or have the most friends of?and perhaps the sign that rules the house the planet is in? im just wondering if this is the strongest indication for why a lot of my friends are virgo suns. my best friend is a gemini sun though. i don't know my 11th house cusp for sure, but with everyone elses insights, maybe this can help me determine it. because if my 11th is in gemini, then the ruler of my 11th [mercury] is in virgo, in the 3rd house - ruled by gemini. ok. im making an edit here, because i think people are not understanding my question. im asking where is the ruler of your 11th house. not what cusp your 11th house is. so, for example, if your 11th house is in Aries, your 11th house ruler is mars. so if this was the case for you, then I'd be asking what sign your mars is in. when you figure that out, tell me if its in a sign you make friends with a lot. thanks to all the responses so far that have answered my actual question. well, my jupiter is in cancer. i don't know the charts of all my friends iv had in the past, but i know i have one cancer. whos in between the acquaintance - friend status. i guess if i knew all the dobs of all my old friends, it would have helped. i have much more acquaintances than friends. most of there suns are air signs - libra, gemini's, some aquas. but the strongest pattern is still mercurial people, or strong virgo/gemini. which isn't correlating with my jupiter being in the 11th in cancer. My 11th house is Virgo and yes...I have made lots of Virgo friends, they tend to be one of the signs I get along with most.
Pisces are also a sign I make a lot of friends with..and my Jupiter is in Pisces

in my eleventh house there is gemini and cancer but my best friends' sun signs are 1 saggie,3 virgos and 1 libra..

i see, what i mean to ask everyone, is where is the ruler of your 11th house, is the sign its in common in your friends?e.g., augentier, where is your mercury? is the sign its in have correlation to the sun signs your friends are? my 11th house is gemini i think, my mercury is in virgo, im wondering if this correlation is why i am friends with many virgos. I don't know, I've got a Virgo 11th house, and Mercury in Pisces...
I'm really void of knowing too many Virgos at all, and I feel towards Pisces I know with rivalry.------------------

Libralove - my Mercury is in Sagittarius...and Yes I do have a few Sag friends, I love them! But they are never really the deep friendships I have with others such as Virgos, Cancers, and some Pisces.------------------

My 11th house is Scorpio, I only know three and their good pals but I don't meet many Scorpios like I do Libras, Leos, Pisces, Virgos, and Capricorns.I have Jupiter in Leo, My goodness do I love me a Leo especially the shy cubbish ones that have not yet to grow into their Lion. I plan to hangout with my fave Leo after school, she has been my friend for five years. She is so sweet, shy, and sensitive I feel I must protect her from all the meanies in the world XD. My 11th house ruler is my Moon which sits in Libra. 2 of my best friends are Libra and I'm very close to a female Libra. Libra is probably my favorite sign for women LOL! My Jupiter is in Cancer so it's the same story there.------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon)

My 11th is in Aries with Jupiter there. Mars is in Sagittarius in my 6th.I like Sagittariuses a lot, and my friends have a lot of 9th house themes in their charts. However, the people closest to me have been very Virgo influenced (Rising or Moon). It should be noted though that Virgo is on my IC and the 11th denotes acquaintances more so than close friends. thanks,i guess this idea supports some peoples stories. the 11th being for acquaintances makes sense to me amowls, if its in gemini (my 11th) because most of my acquaintances are air signs. i read in one topic, that the 11th is the sign you receive love from, well, i don't think iv encountered much taureans, i have had gemini's have crushes on me though, so perhaps the 11th does represent signs you receive love from? maybe this really proves my 11th is gemini. which house is for close friends if there is one? The 7th rules close relationships in general. Of course people really focus on marriage and long term partners here, but it also can signify best friends and business partners.IP: Logged |

11th in Virgo.My best friends are both born on January 16th, Capricorns. One is female, one is male. The female and I share the same ascendant, Libra. I also have a Scorpio sun and double Cancer friend. She's one of the greatest friends I have. I can let go of all of my inhibitions with her and just be goofy. I love Virgos though, one of the friends i've been getting back into contact with is a Virgo, scorpio moon. She's a blast, and a very good person. Not to mention my lover is a Virgo. :P IP: Logged |

My 11th house is ruled by Aquarius. My Uranus is in Sco and falls in the 7th. My DC is Libra. My Moon is conj my DC in the 7th, my Pluto is in the 6th/Libra but conj DC. I have no Scorpio friends at all. I have one Aqu friend. A lot of people I am close to have Libran Moons (although none of them seem to be conj) and I have water heavy friends but none Scorpionic. Two are Aries. I have Aries Rising and Jupiter in Aries conj ASC. IP: Logged |

I have venus in gemini in the 11th (gemini on cusp) and one of my best friends is libra with gemini asc. Another friend is Taurus with gemini asc. two are virgos and a a few others saggies. And so on.IP: Logged |

Good Girl, I think, had a thread about this too.
I think of the 11th house being 'love received' as well - I do get a lot of love from Aquas, and even my exes have had Uranus in aspects with their suns, so this is an interesting pattern. Uranus makes an aspect to my moon, and nearly my whole family is Aquas!
I get along just fine with Aquas too, to me they are quite sane actually (well. Most of them anyway...  ) And Peri, you might be right about the Jupiter theory. My Jupiter is in Aqua as well, and Jupiter makes a whole lotta aspects in my chart. So, as a Virgo, it's interesting, because 'normally' I wouldn't get along with this sign at all, but maybe it's being raised by them or something that's helped me feel comfortable around them. In a nest of Aquas, I sometimes felt like the cuckoo LOL
