Hi all

Do you use davison-natal comparison in your synastry analysis?
I think it is also important for the relationship potential and what the relationship brings each partner. What do you think?

IQhunk,DD Do you also use this in your analysis?

That sounds pretty cool. Unfortunately, it does not seem there is a automatic chart making for this, and I don't really have the patience to do the caparison between charts myself like it asks.

Hi snohawk
when you do your davison chart in www.astro.com there is a date on the top.It is the birth date of your davison.
Like my birthday is 20.10.74 and bf birthday 21.6.80 our davison birth date is 20.08.77,it is written on the top.
so I do a synastry for myself and that date then for my bf again.do it like that it's easy..

Yes. I sometimes use them. It gives a pretty interesting picture to the different reactíons to a relationship. However, personally I would prefer making a synastry with the Davison actually.

Thanks DD.
We sometimes ask here, who is loving more, who's more attracted etc..I think we may learn it this way..but interpretation is hard..

Yes, I think this is a way to see who might be more affected.

BTW you can also make a composite of the composite of the couple and each person.

I can't put the Davison or Composite as a birth chart because the midpoint place between me and my boyfriend is in the middle of the Atlantic

That said, I have done a comparison by eyeballing it before.

Yes, that is a real problem. I usually choose a place which would be the closest to the middle, and then adjust the time until it approximately fits. Of course the MC could be off a few minutes, but usually it works fairly well.

Am i being thick? I don't understand how one can make a birth chart out of a composite or a davidson

For instance, how do i find out where 14e52 41n21 actually is?

Lara,

the place is exactly the problem.

As I said it usually works okay, if you choose a place with the approximate same coordinates. Best look up in an Atlas.

To make a composite with your birthchart and the relationship composite is easier, as you just calculate the midpoints of the planets.

I`d think you look out for the "usual suspects".

I definitely would pay very much importance to the composite Sun, Moon and ASC conjunct any of your planets / asteroids / angles.
Also I think if there is a composite planet on your Karma, I would conclude that you have some karma with that relationship (and the man of course).

of course aspects with the nodes would be important, too.

A strong aspect of the composite to your Valentine, Amor, Moon or Venus of course would signify that you`re emotionally attached to the relationship, or the area of the relationship represented by t he aspecting planet.

DD,
Sorry i'm a bit slow today... only just really gotten back into the real world after one nightmare week!

When you say "take a composite of birthchart and composite" do you not mean a synastry of above? What would a composite of Comp and BC actually tell me please?
soooooo complex

Lara,

sorry to hear you had a bad week

Well, Bob Marks sais the Davision between Davison and birthchart gives a pretty clear image of your personal relationship with the relationship itself.
He has some examples on his chart.

Personally I still prefer looking at what composite / Davison planets fall on my natal planets. But the other way can be very interesting, too.

Yes, the "marks chart" is pretty interesting for me.
NN/moon conjunct IC in 4th
sun in 5th
mercury conjunct DC in 6th
venus/jupiter conjunct in 7th

It's a bit of a mind numbing experience working it out though

Thanks DD

"NN/moon conjunct IC in 4th"
Sounds like a very deep soul experience for you.

Hmm, in a Markschart I checked there is an exact Pluto-Proserpina-conjunction exactly conjunct the Libra ASC, which in turn falls exactly on my MC.

For him there is NN conjunct MC, which in turn conjuncts his Sun exactly.
The Marks-chart Sun also conjuncts his Valentine and IC.
And the exact Venus-Proserpina-conjunction in his Marks-chart falls on his Vertex. Interesting.

In another Davison-Markschart, in my Markschart there is retograde Saturn conjunct my DSC - and boy, does THAT make sense!
And that Saturn is opposing Jupiter-Neptune in 7th house - that makes even more sense. lol
Another significant connection seems to be Karma conjunct Pluto and both opposing retrograde Valentine (and all on the Ariespoint, too).

In his Markschart there is Jupiter conjunct NN. But this is also squaring a Saturn / Eros-Pluto-opposition.
Karma on the IC opposes Proserpina exact and trines Venus and Moon.

Funny though, when we coincidentally met, the Sun/Persephone-conjunction was exactly conjunct the Moon of his Markschart and also conjuncted the Mercury in my Markschart

Doesn't it just :O
Oh, i forgot to add that the Moon/NN/IC is 5/6 taurus which is conjunct my N sun and opposing my N karma/juno
(gulp)

He has moon/NN conjunct in 7th so sounds like a pretty intense relationship experience for him too, no?
