karmic connection or something as asc is a very sensitive position, so is NN

i dont know much abt valentine

I also think those patterns which repeat in composite, synastry and davidson and natals of both kind of lay out the main theme

Well, if the composite indicates the personality of the relationship, it would seem that the NN conjunct ascendant would indicate that the couple's collective karmic lesson is joined with their 1st house identity. What may be more telling is that the South Node is conjunct the Descendant, which could indicate that the couple is very comfortable in the presence of others. That would suggest that the North Node lesson is for the couple to learn to be ok in the absense of others.

Usually, NN interps go by house and/or sign, though, which may add more dimension as to a specific issue.

I kind of question the concept of a composite NN. The North Node is so often talked about in the context of relating to an individual only that it seems unusual to talk about it in the context of a composite chart. Often when people bring the NN into relationship astrology it's in synastry where one person's planet will conjunct one of the Nodes or something.

Thanks AG! I personally prefer the Davison Relationship Chart more than the composite. In the Composite and Davison in question, the Asc and NN is in Virgo (19˚11' for Composite, and 19˚01' for Davison).

I was thinking maybe the NN would be the best indicator of which direction the couple should strive to develop goals and plans as well as how to achieve them.

What do you think about that AG or anyone else? DD? IQ? Peri?

With NN in Virgo, SN is in Pisces. So as a couple you're comfortable with a sort of dreamy, spiritual, fantasy world. Your NN is asking you to be more practical, to get into the details, to look at things more realistically.

Composite NN conj Composite Asc:
Proof of Soul Mates, need to be together for mutual spiritual self actualization.

Valentine conj NN in Composite:
Very very very happy and forunate placement.

My wife and I have composite Valentine conj NN in 12-13 Pisces. We met on March 3rd 2006, when Sun conjunct this degree, before I even saw her chart. My son was born with Valentine conj North Node exact, also on this degree. If the Man can be patient and faithful, then this is the composite that will dissolve all other inter chart negativity in a marriage.
