Yes, I'm obsessed with house overlays tonight. When Eros falls into a particular house, who feels it--the Eros person or the house person, or both? If both, how? What are the sexiest Eros placements in house overlays? IP: Logged |

The girl usually feels the guy's Sun, Mars, Eros and Lust. The guy usually feels the girl's Sun, Moon, Venus, Psyche. EROS Keyword: Loving potential that blossoms in monogamous sexual consummation. Note that Rose is an anagram of Eros and so is Sore. I do not follow standard houses in Astrology, so you can choose the sign instead. Eros in Aries/5th House: Fiery Romantic Love, Chasing Attitude, Love for the sake of enjoyment. Eros in Taurus/4th: Practical, Patient and steady love, expression is mostly physical. Eros in Gemini/3rd: Multifaceted loving ability, needing vareity in the partner's a[[earance/personality to stay interested, love of communication in love. Eros in Cancer/2nd: Clingy domesticated love, need to be babied, needing security in love, emotional expression is very strong. Eros in Leo/1st : Very fiery and Egoistic Love, Love on the verge of selfishness, seducing becomes a challenge, needing appreciation to perform, needing a trophy wife etc. Eros in Virgo/12th : Finicky in love, needing cleanliness, rigour, may suddenly go wild, neurotic about sexual love, Woody Allenish. Eros in Libra/11th : Extremly lovey dovey, soft romanticism, music/candles/chocolatey love, focus on the partner in love, need for plenty of beauty and femininty Eros in Scorpio/10th: Deeply sensual and sexual in love, need sexual expression the maximum, emotionally deep and intense in expressing sexual love, using sexual love to further other goals. Eros in Sag/9th: Flirty, jolly and loquacious love, noisy expression, somewhat wild, robust performers in love. Eros in Capricorn/8th: Need for Established love [as in marriage or religiously sanctioned], totally devoted love, plenty of physicality in expression, very proper, respectful and non-vulgar in love. May prefer an age difference in the partner with the guy being older. Eros in Aquarius/7th: Love that causes sudden and profound change, exotic, inventive and intellectual in sexual love expression, no room for emotions in love expression. Eros in Pisces/6th: Need for extreme empathy and sympathy in sexual love, very dreamy, very idealistic in love, confused in the choice of expressing physical love. ============================================ Here is something interesting: Me and my wife have Eros in Capricorn. Our firstborn son also has Eros in Capricorn.

Hi HeartCakes, Venus will multiply the Eros Effect, you must also check if there is a good Valentine aspor AMOR aspect to your or BF's Eros. Also check the composite Valentine or AMOR for aspect to Composite Eros and Composite Venus.IP: Logged |

IQ,you know how sceptical I still am regarding the "new" house counting. But your description of Eros in 8th definitely makes sense to me. I can relate very much (my Eros is in Cancer in 8th house). IP: Logged |

What about in a same-sex romantic relationship, where neither partner plays a particularly masculine or feminine role? For example, let's say you have a male-male couple. Person A's eros and mars (conjunct) fall in person B's fifth house; person B's eros and mars (conjunct) fall in person A's 11th house. Other aspects notwithstanding (I know the whole charts must be looked at, of course, but I'm trying to figure out this detail in reading)---would the sexual aspect of the relationship feel more "5th house" and center on 5th house issues to person B (the house person), and feel more 11th house to person A? For instance, maybe the person with the other's Mars-Eros falling into his fifth would feel a sense of romance, fun, joy and true love, while the person with the other's Mars-Eros falling into his 11th might see the other as more of a friend? Or, in contrast, do both the house person and the eros person feel the energy of both house placements? IP: Logged |

I don't agree about what was said about how Eros is a male thing etc. I think this transcends the gender of the person. I had a conjunction with a male and I was Eros, he felt it alright. I don't think astrology should be gender based and I disagree with the housing system either. Sorry. IP: Logged |

Hi Lucia23, Regding same sex, I have not doen comprehensive research but this is where I feel Eros may transcend gender, and both may feel it.Hi 23, I said that "usually" the girl alone feels the guy's Eros. There are always exceptions. I have never felt Eros in a girl, yet I instantly feel her Venus and after some time, her Psyche. Maybe it is different for other guys. Then again, conjunctions have their own dynamics of energy, and that is why he may have felt your Eros. Hi DD, << IQ, you know how sceptical I still am regarding the "new" house counting. But your description of Eros in 8th definitely makes sense to me. I can relate very much (my Eros is in Cancer in 8th house). >> I speak purely from experience. You will appreciate the mathematical house system once you observe: How many 6th House heavy people have Neptunian Characteristics compared to 12th House heavy people. My own sibling is 12th House heavy, he does not even remember his dreams and he is the most focused workaholic in our family. He is an athiest, skeptic and ignores spirituality. His life history is a textbook description of all Virgo cliches. There are no afflictions to his Neptune either, nor does he have retrogrades to warp his thinking. He can spot a needle in a haystack 24/7. All Occult interest has been with 6th House heavy people in my circle of more than 100 friends and family. So if Neptune infleunces the 6th house and mathematically also it matches the 6th House, I simply had no problems in adopting this system. It is also very uplifitng to be different and abstain from from parroting stadard astrology textbook stuff maybe it is just my nature... ------------------ Free Articles Sophisticated Readings Samples IP: Logged | |
