Ever since Saturn began transiting my 5th house, I've noticed that my normally legendary sex drive has fallen into a coma of sorts.

Is this typical of this particular transit? I also have Pluto exactly opposing my Venus for the 2nd time (I think there is one more go-around after the next Pluto Rx) and I would think that a Pluto Venus opposition would add a little spark to my day.

But sadly, no.

My boyfriend is feeling sort of similarly to me (thank goodness!) since Saturn is Rx-ing over his Moon in Virgo.

Has anyone else experienced this transit? What did you notice in regards to your libido?

Hi Love. I've got Saturn transiting thru my 5th, almost out of it now. It was conjunct my Sun. No, my sex drive has not been reduced - it's actually increased (but I hardly would say this is Saturn...I'm just at my sexual peak)!

I want to say I've had a decline in sexual activity, but it's not due to my drive so much as it's been that my mind is so focused on career right now. I wonder what else Saturn is fiddling with in your chart. Any personal planets? What about Neptune and Uranus? I think Mars also ties in to the sex drive, so look to that. And also - what is your 5th house ruler? It's one thing for Saturn to pass through your 5th. It's quite another for your 5th house ruler to go through a hard transit. And look at your 8th and 1st house rulers too!!!

I'm remembering when Saturn was SQUARING my Venus AND Mars about two and a half years ago. Oh boy. My super sex drive took a nose dive. I have Saturn trine and sextile my Saturn in my natal. It's nice and steady. But the square from Saturn in the transit. That was just bad. And on top of that, I think it was squaring my Ascendant too (Venus is my chart ruler). my marriage was already bad so this just really affected things in a terrible way for me. I didn't even realize I was going through it at the time....but I was, yes. And it all makes so much sense now. I ALSO had Pluto square my Sun exactly as well as Neptune square my Mars. Sexuality turned to...mush. lol.

So check to see what's up with your Mars and all that other stuff. Esp. 1st house ruler.

What about Saturn in the 8th, lol imagine that dry spell. I think any house were Saturn transits could do one or two things, exhaust the activities that are attached to that house or stabalize those acitivities.

I was having a lot of sex the last time Saturn was in my 8th. I was actually just starting to become sexually active. So I don't think it really slows it down, Cheshire.....maybe makes it seem really important or something. Saturn adds weird weight and importance to whatever house it's moving through, I think. It forces you to pay attention. I was hung up on my sexuality big time when Saturn was going thru the 8th.

Let's see...Tr.Saturn (which is currently Rx) is trining my Jupiter which is the ruler of my 7th and 8th houses. Saturn is 8 degrees away from squaring my natal Mercury which is my chart ruler (and widely conjunct my Ascendant in Gemini).

Saturn will not square my Venus until sometime after November 1st of this year. Sounds like a super fun transit though!!!

Hmmmm...maybe it it my Mars. I have Mars at 21 Leo in the 4th house and it's being opposed by Tr. Mercury, Mars, Neptune and Chiron. I guess that could explain it. Mars is also the ruler of my 12th house and there's alot of unconscious stuff being brought up recently. Hm.

Good call on that one.

Still, when your most exact aspect is Tr. Pluto opposing Venus (and Sun) it's hard to believe that things aren't a little spicier over here in Love-Land!

Love, don't worry about it too much. Unless you're in a super crappy relationship with Venus as your chart ruler, then you're fine.

That Mars though....yeah. 12th house stuff is never fun. I have my moon in there it's veeeery sensitive. Soon Uranus will conjunct it - I wonder how terrible it will be since Uranus also opposes by natal. But soon Saturn will oppose too. The jerk LOL.

How strongly tied in is Pluto in your chart? I've got it sextile my Venus right now and it's quite nice after all the nasty squares
But I've yet to bust out into dating again since my divorce. I think when I do though.....oh man, I kind of feel sorry for the guy who crosses my path
It's my 7th house ruler and ruler of my Venus, so it's really doing something.

At least you're in a relationship - and thank goodness you guys are going through something similar! I'm sure whatever you're going through is very temporary and the love bug will strike soon again

Yeah I have my Moon in the 12th too and it's a pretty sensitive point. But I don't mind 12th house stuff generally speaking, it's just that the transits can be a little draining.

Pluto is pretty strong in my chart actually. I'm usually very sensitive to Pluto transits although I've never experienced the opposition, of course, so who knows, right?

The funny thing is that I started dating my boyfriend as this transit was occuring and he has Pluto/Venus opposition in his chart natally. So maybe he's meant to represent my transit?? Hmmm...

And yes, I'm super grateful that we're going through the same transit since it would be mighty awkward if we weren't!

<<<But I've yet to bust out into dating again since my divorce. I think when I do though.....oh man, I kind of feel sorry for the guy who crosses my path>>>

I've been there and I would have to offer up my sympathies to that future dude as well. Meow.
