Have you experienced jupiter square venus? Did you suddenly become irresistible to the opposite sex? Did you love life improve? Do you reckon this transit does turn one into a lothario/babe?

natally, hard asp Jup_Venus show a risk of diabetis.

jamaica - you either were very lax about money (and those people were directly interested; I've read some stories); OR you were very giving of yourself (while usually you are very demanding, etc). did you do things you normally don't? drink, smoke, dance...

I follow the Cosmobiologist and Uranian Astrology view that hard aspects aren't bad aspects but event-oriented aspects. They don't use soft aspects when looking at events.

I also believe that Jupiter transits aren't necessarily beneficial because there can be potential for excess,indulgence,grandiosity,and/or too much optimism.

If you're aware of the transit, you can make it benefit you. Use the Law of Attraction, focus on what you want and work on obtaining it.

Transiting Jupiter square Venus can manifest as an event that has to do with love,romance,relationships as well as financially.

I will look forward to transiting Jupiter square my Venus. Transiting Jupiter will be conjuncting my Moon/Node midpoint and square my Sun/Venus midpoint too. I have Venus conjunct Sun/Jupiter and square Moon/Node midpoints. Only hard aspects are used with midpoints. Many midpoints aspect planets,angles.

If you look at hard aspects to planets,angles as being bad, do you look at hard aspects to the midpoints that are aspecting the planets,angles as being bad too?
see how things can get confusing?

Cosmobiologists,Uranian Astrologers believe that events happen when transits when orbs of transits are 1 degree and less. They use as a timing window for events.
Conjunctions,Squares - transits 1 degree or less
semisquare,sesquiquadrate - 30 minutes of arc or less

Uranian astrologers use the 1/16,3/16,5/16,7/16 aspects - 15 minutes of arc or less

Transiting Jupiter will be squaring my Venus,using no more than 1 degree orb during these time periods in this year

BTW....My mother has Diabetes and she has a real bad case of it, and so I know how bad Diabetes can be. Therefore,I take care of myself. I am not into eating sweets,junkfood any more. I work out. I am losing a lot of weight. Heck..my shamanic healer asked me if I lost weight. He told me that my face looks thinner. I have. I can even wear 32 waist pants. I could even wear 31 waist. That's what happens when you cut down on sweets,junkfood,sugar. I even lift weights daily. I am even more flexible now. I can kick both my feet almost near my height of 5'11 (ok..ok..ok..I have been watching Bruce Lee movies). Currently, Secondary progressed Sun is conjunct my Mars/Pluto midpoint and square my Ascendant (Natally,I have Mars/Pluto midpoint square Ascendant with 4 minutes of arc). That can indicate increased physical energy/activity,passion and physical body transformation.

I am not going to let transiting Jupiter square my Venus reverse all that. I have the free will to be healthy.

I think the transits might correlate with religious events. After all, Jupiter is the planet associated with religion. Those transits could occur with me becoming an official member of the interfaith unity church that I am attending. Maybe I will get involved with a woman at the church. I am going to use that transit to have fun. My idea of fun is going to a movie,intuitive healing arts festival,the library. If I am with a woman, my idea of fun will just snuggle up next to her watching a movie together,playing games,going out to a nice dinner,go dancing,kissing,and making love.

but yeah.....the way the transits manifest depends on the choices that you make and the actions you take as well as the environment and the people that you interact with.

I'm very indulgent with myself at times, but I am aware of when I am doing it. I do have a nice trine and sextile from Saturn to my Venus and Mars, so this 'stabilizes' things a little bit. I think it gives a rather large sexual appetite (esp the Jupiter square Mars), and it keeps me optimistic. Jupiter is also ruler of my 8th.
The Mars sq. Jupiter can be accident prone - but I also know how to laugh at myself when I fall flat on my face.

I've never had problems meeting the opposite sex, or getting something going. Never had a problem with sexual confidence.
I think it makes me overly optimistic at times too. But I think despite everything my confidence has always been high even when I am down. I can thank these aspects for it - Jupiter is at the apex of my T-square, so it can cause a problem, but again, I have nice aspect to Saturn that stabilize and keep me semi-grounded when I'm being overly indulgent.

This influence can create within you genuine warmth of feeling and the desire to give and express love to others. Maybe go overboard in relationships and settle for the wrong people - I used to have that issue. I never found myself to be very desirable to to opposite sex and they didn't come banging down my door.

I have come across folks in my life that have the natal positions of a transit that I'm going through and it seemed to mirror things for me.
